Thinking about a change of scenery: TN or NC and why?
(18 Jun 2009)
Orlando is just getting too ethnically diverse for me. Most all industry is tourism related, which is not me. There is tons to do which is great, oceans to my left and right, and a million lakes so it's not all bad. The riding is fine, but no where close to TN and NC. TN has no state income tax like FL which is nice, both seem to have similar housing costs. I would specifically be looking at western NC and eastern TN, like Knoxville and Asheville. Larger towns = more to do, better job markets, a...

The Ocean Master: A Legend of Termina
By: Omega Speed
Author's Note: I am in no way affiliated with Nintendo or have any legal ownership of The Legend of Zelda.
This story is slightly mature and an open mind helps when reading The Ocean Master. Some slightly bad words will be included and some will not be used at all.
Chapter 1: The Beginning
A lady of about twenty-five was crawling onto shore in Great Bay. She didn't have much time left. She was pregn...

Request: Another way to ocean discovering
(27 Jun 2009)
Hello guys,
I'm reading a book by Gavin Menzies, "1491 - The Year China Discovered the World" and thinking about that, I had a few ideas for us. It's a delightful reading for nerds like us who like history of civilizations.
My thoughts were: how Civ IV avoid that new continents be discovered in the early eras? Incapacitating early ships to enter oceans. There's an early UU that ignores this limitation: the Chinese Junk! But this feature causes that in almost every game, correct me if I'm wrong,...

What type of room to request at Ocean Palms/Sea Gardens? Ocean or intracoastal...
(08 May 2009)
Does the ocean palms building have ocean view rooms as well as intracoastal view rooms? I read reviews of people liking the intracoastal views, but haven't seen anything about ocean views in this building. If it's taller than the other buildings across the street, I'm assuming it has rooms w/ ocean views. I've read that some and not all rooms have washer/dryer in the room. I wonder if I can get a room w/ w/d & the view. Also I see the pics of the jacuzzi in the room, which rooms are those? gotta...

Requesting opinions on Non-EC RTT's vs EC Jr Ste Ocean Front - Playa Mujeres...
(06 May 2009)
Okay, I have spent the last hour researching former posts re: Excellence Club vs Non EC. Based on my findings, the decision pretty much boils down to individual preference.
My situation is just a little bit different and I would love hearing some opinions.
Right now we've been booked a non-ec RTT (don't get me wrong--we are totally stoked about the RTT and received what I feel is an excellent deal!)
But, because I know that there are some really good offers floating around out there (and I'm a n...
