tethered spine and 2nd opinions
ok, to make a long story short, Lucas was diagnosed with having a tethered spine, 6 lumbar vertebrea, and extra spinal fluid, aswell as Chiari malformation I. The neurosurgeon that we say advised me that he wouldn't need surgery and that we would just monitor it with MRI's every 6mos. Well, after doing some research, everything that I have found states:
It is well understood that in the majority of children with tethered cords neurological function will deterior...

Sega - Aliens Vs Predator spine-ripping kill is the money shot
(08 Jul 2009)
Quote: :
The best moment of Rebellions Aliens Vs Predator, according to European brand manager Rob Bartholomew, is akin to pornography. The spunky bit of pornography.
Its got to be the trophy kills on the predator, Bartholomew said when asked about the games signature moment, talking in the official Sega E3 podcast .
Weve just been trying it out now, just before the show opens, and were just getting familiar with it again, and getting those trophy kills right where you rip the skull off...

Spine double check
(17 May 2009)
Someone give me there opinions on this setup.
I think it would spine right and OnTarget says I would be good. My concern is length of the arrow for this setup.
I will not only hunt with it but want to be able to group well at 60-80 yards as well.
I know Hoyts like a stiffer spine as well but never have figured out if this program factors that in or not.
Here is a picture of the data.
The stuff you cant see here is:
The bow is a 2006 Hoyt Trykon XL.
Shooting Rayzr Feathers

Clownfish head+Urchin spine question....
(13 Jun 2009)
Clownfish head+Urchin spine question.... My orange clown appears to have gotten a bit too close to my Tuxedo urchin, and now has a spine sticking out of her head.
It's definitely an urchin spine
My clown is healthy, eating, pooping, playing, acting completely normal.
Soooo... do I leave the spine in and let her body reject it?
Or do I try and do some clown surgery and risk hurting/stressing her?
I'm leaning towards just leaving it be and watching it for now
Opinions?
Here are some pics (it's the...

Questions about weight tubes and their effects on spine.
(29 May 2009)
So I bought some .400 spine 29.25" arrows from the classifieds for an excellent price to shoot out of my new (used) recurve. The bow is a 45# 60" Shakespeare so the arrows are stiff for the bow but I plan to soften them up with a 100 grain point with a 50 grain weight next to the insert since 100 grain points are easier to find than 150 grain points. With this my arrows would weigh approximately 460 grains but I think I would like to add weight tubes or lawn trimmer line to the inside of the arr...

White Spine Unicorn Tang
(03 May 2009)
What is the recommended tank size for this tang? it doesn't list it on the website. and they have a 19.99 deal right now. I have a 60 gal. and am definitely thinking about upgrading it as my fish grow. But for now they are all in the 2-3 in. range.
Also how would this fish do with the fish I have so far? Hummu Hummu, Javanese Damsel, Blue Damsel, Copper band butterfly, Valentini Puffer, Spiny Boxfish, and Leopard grouper.
Thanks!

Spine Ibifida
(29 May 2009)
I am so sorry you have to go through this worry, especially over the weekend. You know that having a positive screen for spina bifida does not mean that your baby has it, but I know it's still a huge worry. My cousin had a positive quad screen and had to go in for a level 2 ultrasound, and everything turned out to be fine for her. I don't have any advice, but lots of hugs. I'll be thinking about you.
