Hey guys, I was just thinking about picking up a copy of Emergency - This Book Will Save Your Life , after I watched a interview on Attack of the Show .

What happens after a serious, possibly fatal, accident or crash? NOT an insurance question.
Some time ago, Mr. TXVT wrote an "Emergency Information" letter and put a copy in our cars. It contains information on how to contact each of us, and how to contact our next of kin in case we're both in the same accident.
This got me thinking about how little I know about what occurs following an accident. So, I have a series of accident-related questions. I am in Texas, but could get into a car accident...

Computer Emergency Room

05-11-2009, 05:34 PM Remember that plan I had, to wait until summer to get some new electronics? Yeah, well...my computer of 5.5 years' service decided to not start up today. No error messages, no error beeps, just lack of response with mouse and keyboard, and no display on the screen.
What could be wrong? Am I screwed? What should I double/triple check? Should I start thinking about my new options?

So I was wrapping up my quick Vegas get-away, had managed to eat 12,000 calories in 3 days, and survived the onslaught of individuals standing on the strip, smacking small "escort" cards on their hands while trying to convince me to get one. "She is just what the doctor ordered" one fellow said. My girlfriend found it funny and irritating that these men would attempt to give me a "business card" right in front of her. I just found it funny.

Ok guys, I just located an yellow face Emergency , what I did not know was that they have the NON SuperQuartz version of it too and I don't know if that will make a huge difference on price and value Please throw your opinions at me on how you guys feel about buying the non Superquartz version and what its a good deal for a non SuperQuartz I also found the Super quartz version from another place not a forum and it's the blue face one. "emergency Shutdown" By Programmers

Hi,
I've got a question concerning a forced "Quit" in games and I would like to know what you think about it.
Am I allowed to let my program or game check for an online value ?....for example...Roach's NetRead DLL. It checks for a value in a txt file on my server.
If the value "euquals true", the game will start just as usual. If the value "equals false", it will tell the player, that this game or program has been forbidden by it's creators (e.g. because of copyright isues or other stuff)

On-Camera Flash < Emergency Usage

I don't like on-camera flash, and I know that it's typically looked down upon my most others as well, but... I currently do not own a speedlight, or any other flash unit for that matter, much less do I own a lighting setup of any kind. I'm armed with an XSI and it's lovely little kit lense only

left $825.00 in his office but it is well worth it if I don't have the severe jaw pain I've had for at least 2 weeks now.
I went to my family doctor 2 weeks ago thinking I had an ear infection---my ear felt like it was being probed with a sharp object. He said it was not my ear, possibly a slight sinus infection but when he checked my jaw it was inflammed. He gave me antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory and told me to take that for 2 weeks.
