1. What do you men REALLY think about women riders??   (03 Jun 2009)
An honest opinion please, maybe this will go more light hearted than the Helmet thread

2. What do you think about this?   (15 May 2009)
I think many (most) of us know the poor quality of the OE rearsets on the 05-08 ZX6... mainly dealing with the brake pedal's tendency to shear off with the slightest 'crash'. What I'm thinking of doing is making a modular type rearset that can use your OE pegs and controls OR you can purchase replacement parts from Cycle Control. I think this would appeal to track riders more since the 'Bling' factor wouldn't be real high... but rather it would be an economical way to replace a poorly designed O...

3. Thinking about a Gixxer   (29 May 2009)
Whether I need help deciding between a 600 or a 750, or I need help of the psychological variety, I'm not sure yet. That's why I'm posting. Lately, I've become more and more interested in getting a street bike. I've posted on a few forums, and a lot of people have given me a lot of opinions. I've gotten everything from a Honda Nighthawk 750 to a Hayabusa. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm somewhat in between as a rider. I've been riding dirt bikes for about 4 years, and I've ridd...

4. Rhino Riders   (28 Apr 2009)
I was thinking about doing the rhino riders. Is it worth the money? If so, how long can you ride the rhino riders for?

5. Question about catching dropped riders in a road race.   (05 Jun 2009)
So here's a question about road race rules. There's an upcoming road race on a 10-mile loop that has 2 immense hills. The Masters 35/45+ guys are starting 5 minutes before the Cat 4s. You can guarantee that there is going to be a ton of overlap between the front of the Cat 4 field and the off-the-back master's riders. In fact, both fields will probably be demolished to tons of small groups and scattered riders. Being optimistic, if I catch up to a Master's rider that has been dropped, can I work...

6. When can a novice think about becoming a sharer   (21 May 2009)
Hi, Wasnt sure if i should post this in the new or mature riders section? as Im both I've recently returned to riding as an adult - the last time i rode was over 20 years ago. After lots of research (on here) I found a great local riding school where i feel very safe and confident and Im really enjoying my lessons. I've only had a few so far but Im happy with walk, trot and canter although my control around corners with canter can be pretty bad, but at one lesson a week its going to take a while...

7. Off roaders better than street riders?   (09 Jun 2009)
Do YFFs think that the avg. Joe who starts off riding offroad make better riders than those who start off riding the street? Not a troll thread, I just think about all the people I know who start off riding dirt seem to make better riders on the street than some dood/doodette who takes the MSF and rides street. Discuss

8. Are GS/'Adventure Riders' Different?   (02 Jun 2009)
Not too long ago I was reading a [short] blurb on the differences between a fixed wing aircraft pilot and rotary wing (helicopter) pilot. The net, net of the blurb put the fixed wing pilots as 'more carefree and fun-loving', and rotary wing pilots as much 'more intense and less fun loving' (maybe we could understand why when we understand auto-rotating). Got me thinking about we cyclists. Of course many of us span multiple bike types, but, in general, are GS/Adventure riders different from other...

9. LEATT Neck Brace for ADV Riders   (12 Jun 2009)
Well, Over the past year I have been focusing solely on REV'IT! gear. Most of you know me from my REV'IT! Gear for ADV Riders thread . I have been thinking about expanding my product range for quite a while. I needed something that would compliment REV'IT! gear. I'm AGATT freak myself and I test every product before I offer it to fellow riders. I'm glad to report that I just became authorized LEATT dealer. Great reputation, high quality, functional and affordable, LEATT Braces are just the ticke...

10. Taken for granted...techniques for new riders.   (26 May 2009)
I was out riding the Komodo at the Mansion today (which really RAWKED my world) and noticed a few things that I take for granted b/c I've been riding for a while...that a nooblet may not even think about. Most of this spawns from riding behind a noob or non-skilled hack that just makes me cringe when I watch them pick a line or treat their bike like a personal Sherman Tank and plow through something w/o finesse. 1. When I cross a root, fencepost/water-bar, or rock that crosses the trail when it'...
