Thinking about buying a Kimber Pro Covert..opinions wanted.

Hello,
I have recently stumbled upon a hefty real estate commission, and I think I want to treat myself to a new pistol..you know, as a reward to myself I'm liking the Pro Covert II and think it might be the one.
First, I know there are plenty of 1911 options out there and some might feel that for a "bit more" I can "upgrade" to a Wilson, Baer, Ed Brown, etc. I don't really want to go this route. People say, "Once you get a (insert high-end name here) you will see the difference in quality." I d...

Hey every one. I know that my 4" xd45 isn't the most ideal carry piece but every once in a while I get the urge to carry a bigger gun. why I dunno but I do. So I am now in the market for a good cc holster. at first I was really leaning toward small of the back holster but now I am very much thinking about a cross bread super tuck. So I was wondering if any of you carry your xd in service length what kind of holster do you use.

I am curious about the opinions of the Safariland ALS Holster series. What are the Pros? What are the Cons? What do you like? What do you dislike?

alright, i just cant put my brandy new Les Baer in a crummy, old holster, so whadda ya think? what about a new rig for the new gun!! outside belt carry, no ostrich or other exotic weird creature skin, ---let er rip!!!

Clip on holsters: Opinions needed

I have a very nice avenger type holster I've gotten from Black Hills leather that I intend to use carrying my Commander most of the time. I have decided that I'd like to get a IWB clip on to use for times when I may just be stepping out for a moment, or may need to take on and off throughout the day. I'm not looking to spend a whole lot on one, and they all seem to be around the same price wise. I would like to know what everybodies experiences are with them. I know they are not the ideal carry...

Off-Duty Holster(s) for Sig 220 Carry

I'm looking for an off-duty holster for my Sig P220 Carry Elite.
I've come to find that standard Sig P220 holsters do not work. Why? Because the Sig P220 Carry is .01" wider then the P220 to add weight to the gun. Because of this it will not fit in P220 holsters.
I'm looking for one holster, perhaps 2. The first one is an IWB holster, I was thinking about a Crossbreed Supertuck, wonder what your thoughts on it are and if they actually make it for this gun.
