Without venturing into the debate on whether or not people should be able to own any type of gun (we've had that debate before and it always gets ugly), I have an idea that I'd like your guys opinions on.
This relates to mandatory voting and tieing it into exercising your freedoms (as in the 2nd amendment).

I recently I have been thinking about this quite a lot. I am not sure why, but even last night when I couldn't get to sleep, I thought about this.
We all know that there was voter fraud this past election, that's a fact. However, lesser known is that many votes were not counted. yes another one of these threads...sorry. I posted earlier about sites to get what your cars worth. Its not alot so Im kinda thinking just to sell it now even though I just put like $2500 into it just so I can get at least some money for it. I dont know which model but hopefully something under 36k. I want a new car as well so all new models of whatever. So vote away and give me your opinions please!

This struck me as I voted for a party for the very first time.
Alot of people don't vote. I ask why?
I mean this is your right, to vote and have a say in how the country is run. I think if you don't vote then you don't really have a right to complain about how the country is run. My sister said to me today that her friend doesn't vote, and its makes me angry to hear that. Women died in this country to fight for the right to vote, and by simply not voting they are throwing away a wasted vote.

What's this nonsense of Al-Shabaab/assorted radicals will reach Puntland?
A single court belonging to a sub-clan of Cumar Maxamud in 2006 does not count compared to real established rule in places like Xamar, Baidoa, or Kismayo.
Its been said over and over, "wait till they reach Puntland" - but as much as I can calculate a military victory for Al-Shabaab, I simply find it impossible that they will reach Puntland.
