I've never not had long hair. It's at my shoulders now. I think it'll make a really pitiful ponytail. omg. It's all.. short. I need a support hotline. I kinda wanted to take the cut off hair home wiht me, and may be weave it into a security blanket. I'm still thinking about it.

Funeral attire for men

I will be attending a funderal on Thursday. I currently don't have a suit that fits (or that is worth tailoring) so I will be buying a new one (hopefully if I buy it tonight they can have it ready in time, they said they could).
I'll also be needing a suit for an interview soon and since my funds are limited right now I'd like to buy one suit tonight that could serve both purposes. I'm also currently losing weight so I don't want to get stuck with more suits that are too big.

After all the weddings of my little internet group happened, they've been talking about getting pregnant and wanting babies and stuff. It's natural, I think. Many women who get married start thinking about babies not long after, so yeah. Ok.
One of C's brother's wives is pregnant right now. She's driving me INSANE with her constant FB & MS updates about the baby.
OMG! I'm 8 weeks pregnant!
Going to the doctor today to hear the baby's heartbeat!

I've discussed that my husband has a brain injury here before...and today we had a situation that demonstrates some of the struggles we face in simple, every-day tasks. I try to let my husband have the independence of being self-sufficient, but it's not often he gets those moments. I usually have to handle everything. Today was just a reminder of this.
I took my son to the ER today and got a script for an antibiotic. I dropped the Rx off at Wal-Mart to get it filled and pick up later in the day....

Memorial Day Ponderings
It is a day we pause to think

that God desires for all.
It is a day for looking back
at how the mourners dreaded black
maintains the colors that we love...
the red, the white and blue.
In cemeteries far and near
small flags at grave sites make it clear
that freedom's price was freely paid
by those who spent their lives.
And so on this Memorial Day
we place a wreath and humbly pray
that these who died courage...

Need an honest opinion

A close friend of dh's got married on the 4th of July. They had a photographer (who was the groom's uncle - he was at one time a pro wedding photog but groom's sis says he was horrible) and I was not asked to take pics, though they did tell me that I could take as many as I wanted to take (I used to be a pro, and everyone knows my camera goes practically everywhere with me). I did shoot some photos, and some of them are pretty good, but I haven't had a chance to do much - not even to get them of...
