XPS M1330 and Nvidia GPU Issue - Did they ... I am thinking about buying ...

I am thinking about buying a new XPS M1330 with Nvidia card(can't be intel, must be Nvidia for me). But I have read so many reports on the GPU going out and the motherboard being replaced over and over(per a user). My question is, if I bought a new one would mine have this potential flaw or did they fix this iwith a re-design? Or is this issue not as big as it seems?

i am a big fan of Nvidia and no matter what happens my computers will always have an nvidia card.
ok so, according to what i read on the internet the new intel platform
called LARRABEE will outperformance the current nvidia and ati cards

Thinking About New AMD Build

After my experiences with an nvidia board and the somewhat expensive 955be's overclockability I'm thinking about selling my brand new setup and coming up with a new AMD build. This time air cooled rather than water. Let me know what you guys think.

i tried it today. nearly wiped out my OS. i think from this point on, everytime i update the video driver i am going to uninstall the old one first then install the new one (as oppose to what i usually do, installing the new on top of the old). twice attempting to install a new Nvidia driver in the past 5 months and caused erratic OS behavior. the last time i did this, i had to reformat the whole machine cause it wouldn't boot back up. fortunately this time i was able to use the install disc to...
