1. Atheist Husband, Christian Wife, Children to be determined   (10 Apr 2009)
Hello everyone! I have a problem; one that I hear is pretty common; I am an atheist who is married to a strong Christian. My general story can be found at: http://www.freeratio.org/showthread....05#post5884205 so I will try to stay brief and stick to my current situation. My wife and I have been happily married for 7 years now. Ok, I’ll be honest; we have been happily married for about five or six of those. I actually think that is pretty good, especially since the roughest times were at the beg...

2. Do you believe that life is pre-determined?   (10 Jun 2009)
As the OT states. Do you believe that everything we do is pre-determined. In a way it is true because think about this. Your mother gave birth to you, that was pre-determined. Who we will end up with is pre-determined. Some people are pre-determined to live up to a certain age. The actions we choose to do can only go up to a certain point. The rest is all pre-determined. Also if someone where to commit suicide maybe it was pre-determined that they will kill themselves. But one flaw is that you r...

3. Is the $7 UL Data plan for HTC Touch solely determined by the ESN?   (02 Jul 2009)
I am thinking about getting an Omnia and have the ESN changed to my old HTC Touch. Will everything just start working once I changed the ESN? $7 UL Data plan

4. - Something to think about, put it on your back burner and remember this....   (22 May 2009)
Something to think about, put it on your back burner and remember this. This is from my insight not my friends, although my friends think this is to complex to think out. All investor knowledge is based on the known's of the investment world. Since that is how future conclusions are determined. What if the USA Treasury defaulted on it's obligations, not short term obligations. They can not on the short term. It would freeze everything in the markets. But, what if they gave up 10-30 yr. treasurie...

5. what Muslims think about the Islamic writings?   (27 May 2009)
Quote: : 2. Illicit relationships are a form of ‘azaab-e-Ilaahi (Divine Punishment). Just as a person will be restless in hell-he will neither die nor live, similarly, after casting lustful glances, a person becomes involved in illicit fascinations and becomes restless and uneasy. He is completely deprived of a peaceful sleep. Both his secular and religious life is destroyed. Eventually he is admitted to an asylum. Today a large percentage of mental hospital patients are those who became insane...

6. What do we think about Cedric Benson? (lengthy orig post fixed)   (21 May 2009)
Quote: I mean he looked really good last year. The staff seemed to believe in his "resurrection" by not drafting a RB save some headcase in the 7th round out of Abilene Christian"? They drafted nothing but help for Benson by spending their early picks on OL/C/TE, and improving their defense (which usually only helps running backs, especially the rb1's). Yet he is Ranked 31 in redraft and 42 dynasty? He's still relatively young, and if his head is right immensely talented? Am I missing something?...

7. What do people think about watching videos/listening to music on YouTube?...   (26 Jun 2009)
You know how some videos on YouTube get taken down because of copyright infringement? Well, I was wondering, what do people think about listening to music recordings on YouTube, or watching clips of TV shows or movies? Would that be copyright infringement in some cases? Or can we assume that since YouTube does not take them down, they have been determined to be okay? THanks for everyone's input.

8. Nitro finishes: what do you think about them?   (06 Apr 2009)
I've been trying to understand the pros and cons of nitrocellulose finishes and want to query my AGF friends. The one thing I think I've determined is that there seems to be no perfect finish. What do you like or dislike about nitro finishes? Is nitro your favorite? Least favorite? Or does it really matter to you what the finish is? If it's not your favorite, what do you like better, and why? Thanks much. Bill

9. Thinking about enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard   (17 Apr 2009)
I had considered this option at the time of high school graduation, but at the time I was pretty over weight. In June of 2007, I weighed in at 303 lbs at 5'11. I never really thought about how I had gotten to that weight, and I knew I had to do something. In October later that year, I developed kidney stones. It was determined to be an excessive intake of caffiene and calcium (Mountain Dew and Milk, in my case. Both very tasty!) I stopped drinking the dew altogether for a solid 6 months. I still...

10. Midnight Physics.... I'm thinking about brake rotors and sprocket hubs   (07 May 2009)
OK, so my normal open class kart has a huge brake rotor on it. It weighs in at 1lb 16 oz. I use this type of rotor because i'm generally travelling faster, braking harder, and wearing the big boy out. This all causes heat and brake fade. I have NACA ducts moving air to the rotor and caliper. Not much of a concern now with overheating the rotor and experiencing brake fade. I'm taking the Open off in favor of a blue clone. I'm thinking I don't need this heavy duty brake rotor, or heavy duty sprock...
