Whether I need help deciding between a 600 or a 750, or I need help of the psychological variety, I'm not sure yet. That's why I'm posting.

The government has launched two new initiatives aimed at students. Both are very relevant to our model HOC, they could provide us with a real direct voice to government....in theory anyway.

When to contact RCCL special needs department?

Hi! Does anyone have any opinions on when I should contact the RCCL special needs department prior to our cruise? We sail in September. I wanted to alert them that my son is on the spectrum. He won't need any modifications in AO, but I'd still like the staff to know. Also, does anyone know if there is anything RCCL can do to make the muster drill easier for him? Hey guys, Hope all is well, and hope you guys reply to this posting since the Vermont forum has been dry lately. Anyone have any info on this department as far as work load, moral, supervisors, etc. How is Burlington as a community, and is the work in Burlington busy, and does it have good and bad areas? Does the cost of living compare relatively well with the salary for a police officer? Is there room for advancement?

First time i heard congressman ron paul talk about getting rid of the department of education was about a year ago and he described it as one big beaurocracy that was so inefficient and wasteful .
What are all of your opinions on this folks? Keep it or get rid of it?

Department Limits on BUG's

I am going to be in the academy this summer, and would like to purchase my own weapon for the training. I am going to buy one anyways for personal reasons, but want to make sure I am allowed to carry it as a BUG once I am hired somewhere. Do very many departments limit the types of weapons you can carry as a BUG, or do they simply make you qualify with it in order to carry it? I want to avoid buying a gun, and then be told I cannot carry it by whatever department I am hired by. I am in the proce...
