1. Unasked for opinions about medical decisions   (11 May 2009)
I guess I'm not really asking for advice since I'm pretty sure I did the only etiquettely correct thing there was to do. I also know that I pretty much set myself up for it since I divulged personal medical information with a colleague. Still, I thought it was pretty rude so I thought I'd share the incident here. It's been a pretty horrid year and a half for me. I've had one issue after another. Both medical, professional, and personal. I finally got around to dealing with the medical issues and...

2. Well, it's about time.   (19 May 2009)
About time for what, you ask? About time for my 1000th post, that's what. I will not waste time thanking others, saying what I truly think of them, because you know what, I'm gonna thank you all. And you're all beautiful people. Especially you, the one reading this right now. Your fashion sense is terrific. And you have great hair. What an all-star outfit. Instead, I thought we'd look at a history of me, since that should be equally soul-bearing and embarassing. So here we go, me. This is my lif...

3. Please, before you complain more, stop and think about what you're saying...   (26 Jun 2009)
I keep seeing the same asinine complaints over and over again. Let's stop and think about them for a minute: Complaint 1: The developers are releasing content without any regard for what the players think. Reality: Developers exist to satisfy the players. While they may get some things wrong, everything they change is because they feel it will enhance the gameplay. They are not changing things because they want to piss you off. They are changing things because they think it will make you enjoy t...

4. Here's my .2 cents. Think about it, Management   (28 Apr 2009)
I have watched from a distance the ongoing battle to *regain" Truck.Net. I have kept quiet, with minor exception and I figure now is as good a time as any to hit the fan with it. Let me think back a few years to when I lurked here. There were many, many posters...yeah, sure..the Wild West..I saw the other thread. But the truth is, it was a forum where we could come and discuss trucking stuff, gripe about trips, loads, roads, trucks and stoopit stuff. With a lot of humor thrown in. Zigzag, as big...

5. Have i got attached to a girl too quickly (both girls and guys opinions welcome...   (07 Jul 2009)
Have i got attached to a girl too quickly (both girls and guys opinions welcome)   Hey there. Firstly let me say that I have never been in a long term relationship before but recently I went out on monday queuing up to the club entrance, and suddenly just got speaking to this girl in the queue. We were just talking about general things like what she had been doing in the day and where she works etc etc.. just general chit chat. Once we got inside, we sort of parted and i went off with my friends...

6. AP Opinions   (27 Apr 2009)
Since Arcane Power came out not to long ago (I just got it! I'm so happy...), I figure I might as well spark a conversation about what seems to be bad/decent/good/broken in the book. Which PPs look good? What feats/familiars look good? What power/class features look good? What Epic Destinies look good? And so on.... Try to keep this conversation focused on wizard stuff (that's why I created it in the controller forums) I personally think familiars are pretty cool. Several benefits for one feat i...

7. Moving out - [My work in progress] - Opinions please?   (01 Jun 2009)
★ - - - Those who criticize our generation... First and foremost: This is a true story . This all occurred this past september when I finally moved out of my parents' house. Second, let me say this: I am not a writer. I'd love to be one and I'd like to think i'm not THAT bad at it. But this is just an "excerpt" from my life in the past year. I don't know if I'll add anything else or if I'll even continue on with it; I just wanted this little piece to remember what I got through and how I got thr...

8. opinions from plastidip users   (05 Jun 2009)
I would like to black out the chrome trim on my 325iT and am thinking plastidip is the way to go. However... For those who have used this method , are you happy with the results? Has it stood up to the weather and the test of time? If money wasn't an issue (when is it not) would you have bought black trim pieces instead? I want to start with my grill surrounds and if I like the results then move on to the chrome around the doors/windows. Possibly even finish with the vent at the top of the hood....
