Just wanted to get some opinions. I can't seem to compress my clutch, gears are shifting smooth. So I'm thinking pressure plate is crack, new clutch is needed, maybe even a flywheel....
The car has over 160k on it. It's a 528it wagon black on peanut butter with the rare 5spd. BBS style 5 wheels, H&R springs, new shocks. I also have the front m5 bumper and angels eyes not installed yet. Cooling system over haul was done last fall. I have the abs and dsc light on which is probably the module.

After my cam install and some other things I've started thinking about getting an oil pressure gauge or oil temperature gauge in the car-
Where can I get these? What kind are available? Who makes a mount for these?
Are there OBD port plug in thingies that would get me this information?

Hey Reddit, looking for some advice here. I've been thinking about going into politics recently. Now, I'm not a lawyer or someone already in the know, so my knowledge of "how things work" is a bit limited. I'm ready to learn, though.

I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...

i played WoW for about a year and a half till about last year October-ish on the bronzebeard server, found a good guild and levelled a paladin to 70 got full epixxxx and did the same with a warrior.
i originally quit because of exam pressure and well i was getting bored of WoW at the time and previously quit like 6 months prior to starting up again...
erm anyway, my original plan was to quit for the exam period till WotlK got released and i'd start up again... thing is i just never fel...

This is kind of a newb question but the gauge on my Myth just crapped out on me yesterday and I was thinking about getting a new reg. I haven't ever used a low pressure reg though. Which would work better on my 09 Indy and why? Do I have to do anything to the marker to run low pressure? Thanks

Hi guys,
I did the right thing and searched the forums for my answer but still couldn't find it anywhere.
So here goes. Once my beer is carbonated to the level (eg, 2.1 atmospheres), at what pressure do I serve it at?
I've always just served at that pressure but get lot's of head. Papazian once wrote that you can serve at 3 lbs. or so. I do understand that as you are serving the head pressure in the tank will gradually drop to the serving pressure but what are the opinions here.

My current fuel system is inadequate to support my current needs. I have already purchased the Aeromotive Boost Ref Fuel Pressure regulator and the MagnaFuel 4301 inline pump. My original plan was to sump the tank and toss out the walbro 255 and stock regulator setup. The more I think about it, the less I want my tank sumped. For some reason, I have a major hang-up about dropping the tank and welding on it. I am thinking of doing this instead. Your thoughts and any pitfalls that I may run into w...

Thinking about finally trying clipless, help me find a shoe

I've been thinking about giving clipless another shot, but the problem is, all the shoes look ridiculous to me. I really just don't think I can get into wearing neon velcro shoes. Do they make any modern SPD clipless shoes that have a classic look like the old leather lace up bike shoes everyone used to wear? I'd like something in a simple black, laces, no velcro(not only do I dislike the looks, it puts weird pressure on my feet), recessed cleats if possible, low top type shoe. Does this exist?...
