Thinking about 1964 Topps FB - input
(07 Apr 2009)
Thinking about starting this set in 8 - maybe 7 and have been doing some research on it. Looks like several high priced SP cards and a handful of pricey lo pops too. I also thought I would see if anybody has a group or several that might give me a running start if I go forward with this set. Certainly any comments or opinions are welcome. I had also been considering 62 Fleer but 64 has several more great AFL players with a few key RC's.
Thanks
J

Hey hows it going guys, I'm thinking about buying a MSI GX610 laptop and I would like to know others opinions on the specs, the company, the price etc etc. First of all things you should know about me. At the moment I use a ordinary basic desktop for gaming and surfing. I want a gaming laptop because I travel a lot and well I love pc gaming pretty self-explanatory. I want a entry level gaming laptop thats overall pretty solid. I just posted those facts because I would like to know if you think t...

Sucked back: Is any forward good-forward?
(11 May 2009)
For the past couple of rides the Hot Tamale has been...hot. He's the kind of horse that gets tense very quickly and then has a hard time decompressing. I'm struggling with working through his episodes lately and I'm going through my toolbox looking for new approaches. His MO is to suck his neck back, put his head up, and take very quick/short strides (aka pony death trot). What I've been doing is maintaining the contact and using sort of a "lateral push" (i.e. slight leg yield out feeling) to as...

Problem Now I have to really think about it.
(16 Apr 2009)
This is going to be a long post… A time back I posted this:
…even though I been unhappy with how they have handled me personally. Their first action should be to move on to a better (I assume that is what v23 is) program thereby getting them back in the game. Next, change their low sales tactic opinion of a lot of their customers (myself included). On this issue I do have an opinion… and suggestion (though how workable it is I don't know). Get rid of the sales people (sorry...bye guys) and incre...

Something to think about, put it on your back burner and remember this.
This is from my insight not my friends, although my friends think this is to complex to think out.
All investor knowledge is based on the known's of the investment world. Since that is how future conclusions are determined.
What if the USA Treasury defaulted on it's obligations, not short term obligations. They can not on the short term. It would freeze everything in the markets. But, what if they gave up 10-30 yr. treasurie...

Thinking about Refreshing the Firefox Icon
(15 May 2009)
As we get closer to releasing Shiretoko (Firefox 3.5) we are considering that this might be a good time to update and evolve the Firefox application icon. We will likely be leveraging some conceptual work created by Jon Hicks during the development of Firefox 3, but otherwise we are just now getting started.
As the project progresses I'll be posting the creative briefs as we send them out, draft artwork as it comes in, and I'll be highlighting some of the feedback we are receiving from the commu...

Ping services Class -- Looking forward to your opinions
(25 Apr 2009)
Hi Guys,
I finally moved to a quality hosting company and am now on PHP5. I dived into learning classes, and I have written my first one. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on how you would have done it differently, so that I may learn more.

Orient fans have painful Hearnia to think about
(08 Jun 2009)
Just spent much of my afternoon writing a column for the Orient rivals site. I usually do "Match Previews" but have come up with this fairly emotional piece.
Quote: : After fourteen years in charge we look back on Barry Hearn's rein as Orient chairman and look ahead to the future and discuss what that holds for Barry and most importantly, the club. Quote: :
In 1995, Leyton Orient Football Club's one hundred and fourteen existence looked to be in jeopardy when chairman Tony Wood lost his coffee g...

lingering sadness -- can't stop thinking about the time when I was sick
(20 May 2009)
I still get really, really sad when I think about my experience as a fourteen-year-old anorexic. I know it is is normal to be sad about something like this, but sometimes I get a little obsessive when I start think about that time in my life. I'll be sitting on the subway, riding to school, and I'll start crying because something reminds me of that period of my life.
I have noticed one pattern. The times when I think most about my struggle with anorexia are the times when I am in transition -- t...
