Opinions wanted on Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AFS or Sigma f/1.4 HSM?

Hi all sifu here, initially i wanted to get a Nikon AFD f/1.4 but later it come out with the AFS version so tempting. recently i saw so review on the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 HSM .. wow fantastic!!! but i also saw some bad review commented about the AF issues with the Sigma.
Anyone of you hving n actually using the Sigma for quite some time? really need your valued input here. BTW, i'm using Nikon D90 now.. having a 85mm & 50mm f/1.8D and Tokina 12-24mm F4. Cheers!!!

Having a tough time deciding this one... any opinions? I like the feel of the Nikon, but the Canon XSi is cheaper...

Opinion Needed: Nikon or Tamron 70-200 2.8:

I am looking at getting a 70-200 2.8 lens for low light action/sports shooting with my D90 and am debating between the Nikon and Tamron versions of the lens.
I know this question has been asked before but my situation is a little unique. I am able to by the Nikon lens for $1250 new through a Nikon dealer or the Tamron for $679 at B&H.
In your opinion, if you were in my situation, is the Nikon worth the extra $600? Is the focus speed and IQ that much superior, assuming you get a good copy of the...

Nikon Binoculars - Product review?

Just curious if anyone has picked up any new binoculars of late.
I am trying to decide between the Nikon Action 7216 (8X40) model and the Nikon Extreme Action ATB (8X40).
I guess the main differences between the two is that the Extreme series gives you that "waterproof, fog proof, shockproof" and the other being price. The Extreme pair runs around $125 or less, while the other is about $65.
Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.

I see Canon folks going over to Nikon all the time. RArely do I see the opposite. I'd like to hear from previous Nikon owners who have switched to Canon and see what the pros/cons are.... I'm thinking about switching to Nikon full frame, like the d300 or d700.

I need to make up my mind this weekend, and I'm looking for your opinions. Which is better? Which would you rather have and why? Nikon D90 vs Canon 50D. I'm not satisfied with my Nikon D60, and have a few days left to exchange it.
