Looking for Monitor/TV with DVI, HDMI, and S-Video Input
(08 Jul 2009)
I am currently using a 22" ViewSonic NX2232w and its native resolution is 1680x1050 while my graphics card in my MBP (2.4GHz, not the newest model) is only capable of a max of 1600x(...?the guy at AppleCare didn't tell me, but i dont think the second number matters as much). I am currently using a DVI>VGA adapter that came with one of my Mac's and a (m)VGA>(m)VGA cable which is connecting my MBP and ViewSonic.
I am one of those people who researches things to death before I buy them, but w...

Opinions Please- AT&T Uverse + or - ATV?
(29 Jun 2009)
Thank you all for your input.
I am moving soon, and have to give up FIOS(Verizon) for UVerse (AT&T). Up to this point, I haven't paid much attention to the Apple TV. I am wondering if it will provide value that the DVR provided with Uverse won't? Will it allow me to ditch the DVR/tuner and the monthly rental fee?
Thanks again.

(19 May 2009)

(03 May 2009)

Around nine out of ten computers run one version of Windows or another, making it the world's default option in operating systems. It's opting for something else, like a Mac, that always represents a conscious choice.
Which is not to say that there aren't plenty of real reasons to select a computer that runs Windows, even after you've investigated all your options. As a confirm...

Intechip's MP4 Star Portable Media Player Review
(27 Jun 2009)
We had the opportunity to get our hands on a MP4 Star portable multimedia player. Our first impression was wow, how did they fit all these features into a fairly portable machine. The machine fits in a palm nicely. The machine is not designed to be a beauty pageant winner though. It is designed for functionality over looks.
Lets have a look of the portable multimedia player:
First off, you can see that it will fit in an average person's palm. The media player will not win for looks, but it is fu...
