Hey hows it going guys, I'm thinking about buying a MSI GX610 laptop and I would like to know others opinions on the specs, the company, the price etc etc. First of all things you should know about me. Hello everyone.
I am working on a business thesis about mobile commerce (m-commerce) and I am trying to get the thoughts & opinions of consumers. What ya'll think about this for a 97 base. It does just about anything you'd want to do in a mobile entertainment system and has a msrp of about 1100...plus it would look like factory equipment...opinions?

Mobile Development - Future Interest Mobile Programming

Just curious, I've been thinking about getting into programming for the Blackberry, and wondering what are some of the issues with coding for phones.
Is it all Java, or can you use another language.
Seems you'd have to be conscientous of memory since it's a small platform.
How hard is it to debug mobile apps? (I know VS has an emulator, but is it reliable/realistic?)
Is it one size fits all, or do you have to know different languages for different manufactureres? (I know the answer, but I don't...

Does anyone ever think about that 15' MBP should use 1680 screen resolution...

As you can seen from recently update on mobile phones(HTC Diamond 2/pro etc). The 3.2inch screen supports 800*480(WVGA)resolution. I am wondering when apple can upgrade the 15' MBP to 1680(1920 might not good for eyes) that make it much more prefect.
Since I had go though the forum, seems nobody care about this, does everybody satisfied with currently resolution?

Have T-Mobile - Switch to Sprint or Verizon?

I have T-Mobile right now, and before T-Mobile, I had Sprint. When my contract ends with T-Mobile, I'm thinking about switching to Verizon or Sprint.
I love MyFaves with T-Mobile, and I think Verizon has something similar.
I've had bad experiences with sprint in the past, but hear they're getting better, and they will be the first to have a 4G network.
At this point, I'm leaning toward Verizon, but maybe I should stick with T-mobile for another 2 years.
So someone please tell me, Verizon, Sprint...

T-mobile (U.S.) and 3G service?

On searching for 3G (1700 and 2100 bands) quadband GSM, I found only 6 phones. But I found 70 3G triband (850, 1900 and 2100). I am wondering if I should switch to AT&T from T-mobile as the choice of phones on T-mobile is so limited. How is T-mobile's 3G service? If you have 1700 and 2100, you can get by everywhere except al of Americas (with the exception of T-mobile), as most opf America uses 850 and 1900 bands for 3G. I seek opinions and advice. Thanks in advance.

Have been away for a week and come home to find the ex has cancelled the phone and internet. I was thinking about going for one of these mobile internet and free laptop deals but was wondering how much of a hit FML will make on the monthly usage.
Does anyone here play FML over a mobile net connection and if so how do you find the usage?
