I was hoping some of you might weight in with your opinions about him. I think he is very talented and has skills but I am not sure if he is ever going to be able to compete with the top tier lightweights. I mean he lost to Guida(even though I thought he wont) and now to Joe Stevenson. Even though both of those were close, especially the Guida fight, it seemed like he was easily overpowered in both of those fights. So I guess what I am asking is, do you think he will ever be able to compete for...

I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...

The world really is stupid.
Starting with our country...
we're trillions of dollars in debt so we're fighting a war where we waste money for new weapons and the gas just to transport people. We can't really afford anything like that right now. And why are we in the war with Iraq and all those countries anyway? It's either because they bombed us, or oil or something stupid like that. I know a lot of people passed away in 9/11, but we're killing more people by sending them over there to fight for...

I'll try to condense this as much as possible. My mother is in a nursing home and my youngest brother (35 years) lives in her house. My niece (not his daughter), her husband and their 2 young children moved in with him in my mother's house because the husband is in college and only working part-time. They pay me $200.00 a month in rent to live there. I've told them more than once that I'm not replacing applicances when they break - they are renting an unfurnished house. If they want to inc...
