1. Grabner & Hodgson OR Sundin & Demitra   (03 Jun 2009)
Canucks have too many forwards. Choices have to be made. The 1st line is set once the Sedins re-sign. After the playoffs they had, the 3rd line should be set as well. The 4th line role players are all signed up with Hansen as 13th forward. That leaves us with the 2nd line and IMO, Canucks are better off playing Grabner and Hodgson with Kesler than re-signing Sundin and playing him and Demitra with Kesler. These are my reasons: #1 both have just come off outstanding seasons in the minors and woul...

2. Slovak line for the nux!   (21 Jun 2009)
Hey nux fans, if the sedins dont sign why not go after hossa and gaborik. Demitra,Hossa, and Gaborik would be a great top line. I'd love to hear yur opinions. 09-10 Lineup Gaborik Demitra Hossa Raymond Kesler Burrows Hodgson Wellwood Grabner Bernier Johnson Rypien Salo Mitchell Edler Bieksa O'Brien Skoula Luongo Schneider

3. Like it hasn't been done before... NYI - - VAN   (20 Jun 2009)
To The Canucks: 1st Overall Pick (Hedman or Tavares) D Good Defenseman To The Islanders: LW Daniel Sedin C Henrik Sedin Rights to Ohlund or Kevin Bieksa Think about it, Isles are screwed for the next 13 years with DiPietro's contract, might aswell add 2 solid players who can preform for however long they want (12-13 years), Campoli is a solid defenseman. Tavares could play with Hodgson and if they play anything like they did at the World Juniors they will be beastly. Or you pick Hedman and sign...

4. Now that we've lost out on Gabby, do we go after Heatley?   (01 Jul 2009)
So Marion Gaborik, the big money forward we all thought was coming here, is not. Neither is Marion Hossa. So what now? Martin Havlat? Or get in on the trade talks with Brian Murray to try and acquire Danny Heatley? The good thing for us as fans with Heatley rejecting that trade to Edmonton after the deal became public is that now we all know approximately what it's going to take to get Heatley from Ottawa. So what do you all think about trading for Heatley and what would give up to get him? Pers...

5. Trade Proposal..   (07 Jul 2009)
I just wanna know what you think about this Trade.. To Vancouver Canucks: Cam Barker Dave Bolland 5th Round Draft Pick To Chicago Blackhawks: Steve Bernier Pavol Demitra 4th Round Cam Barker Is a puck moving Defenceman who can hook the puck up in serious plays. And Had 40 points..(6-34-40) Dave Bolland might be Top 6 forward material, If he gets the chance to prove himself...Might work good with Kesler and Samuelsson.. Thoughts? Please No Flaming..

6. OFFSEASON PROPOSAL 09`   (12 Jun 2009)
Wathcing the AHL playoffs, I cannot believe the level that Schneider is playing at. He has been fantastic all season long. His short stint with the team this year he looked shaky but that can easily be attributed lack of experinece and confidence. He should be ready come next year for a few more games in the NHL maybe even as a potential replacement for Luongo. There is very little doubt in my mind that Luongo will sign for less than 7m. My offseason proposal revolves mainly around 1) the depart...

7. Expansion Draft - Who Should I Protect?   (06 Jun 2009)
I have to protect 11 players on my team for an expansion draft in a 5-year dynasty pool I am a part of. (only 1 year complete*) I was thinking of protecting these 11 players, any suggestions?? 1. Carey Price (G) 2. Henrik Lundqvist (G) 3. Zach Parise (LW) 4. Thomas Vanek (LW) 5. Derek Roy (C) 6. Paul Stastny (C) 7. Steven Stamkos (C) 8. Ales Hemsky (RW) 9. Brad Boyes (RW) 10. Mark Streit (D) 11. Duncan Keith (D) Others: Andrei Kostitsyn Milan Hejduk Jason Pominville Joe Pavelski Tim Connolly Pav...

8. championship experience   (26 May 2009)
I was thinking about what the team was missing this year, because it seemed like we had a really good mix of players that was capable of winning it all. We had youth (Raymond, Edler), experience (Ohlund, Sundin, Demitra), prime star players (Sedins, Luongo), speed (Raymond, Kesler, Burrows) and grit (Obrien, Hordichuk, Rypien, Burrows). Throw in an extremely solid 6 man d core and the intangibles and leadership that players like Mitchell, Johnson and Kesler bring to the table and I was feeling p...

9. The Next Canuck?   (08 Jul 2009)
Alright, so today, Andrew Raycroft signs with the Vancouver Canucks. Francois Beauchemin signs with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Many people were suggesting that Cory Schneider would be the backup for Luongo next year, but today, with the signing, Raycroft will backup Luongo. This means that Cory Schneider will be packaged up in a trade, preferably to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto needs a good goaltender, and we need a puck moving defenceman. Ironically, Beauchemin signed with Toronto today, as t...

10. To all you haters   (31 May 2009)
Im sick of so many people saying things about luongo now. saying he cant perform in the playoffs and he chokes, or paying him money isnt worth it, or we are better off trading him for more offence. does nobody remember the west coast express days? the days where we could score but there was no one to stop a puck in the playoffs? only a choking cloutier. we finally have the best goalie in the world and everyone wants to trade him. why not trade a defenseman or two. we have a solid 6, arguably one...
