The question in the thread title pretty much sums up the purpose of this thread. I am interesting in seeing opinions on the current state of SSDs.
Would you upgrade to one?
How sensible are the trade offs?
As a non-enterprise consumer, would you still take SLC at the increased cost and write endurance, or MLC with the decreased cost and write endurance?
What about PRAM (Phase-change RAM)? Do you think it will be the next big thing for SSDs?

I keep seeing the same asinine complaints over and over again. Let's stop and think about them for a minute:
Complaint 1: The developers are releasing content without any regard for what the players think.

Hey guys
My old astroglass was stolen in may and I'm now looking for a suitable and cheap replacement. I found an older champion and was wondering if you guys might know anything about it since the ad doesn't have a model name listed. Sorry the pics aren't better they're from the boat ad.
Its a 1987 18.5' fish and ski with a 200hp merc.

Ok i've been reading and researching on helmets here lately. And have read some stuff on after a helmet reaches to be 5 years old or older, something about it's not as safe and it starts breaking down or something? Didn't know how true this is, but all of my helmets have reached that 5 or more year mark except one and it will be 5 years old by the end of this year. I can't do anything about this now since a) I don't have an Xcal2 and b) I don't have the spare cash handy, but I'm going to ask for some opinions now so I have time to think about things.
I'm going to be doing the PI intake swap and mild J-mod sometime in the next month or two and with that, I think I should get a tune to better take advantage of things. We are getting my new lil guy this weekend and after playing with him this week there were 2 names that stuck in my head and I wanted to make sure I was not off my rocker...
Boo Boo ..I know fits a chihuahua better but got a chuckle of how people would respond to a big boxer male being named boo boo..
Finnigan (Finn) I have never thought of this name for any dog but it just popped into my head..any other opinions would be greatly appriciated..nothing tough just different.

Thinking about a Srt6

Hey guys, brand new here. I've been looking around for a new car, and I want something with pretty good power and "get up and go" ability. The Crossfire is pretty much everything I want, and definately want to have the srt6 version for the turbo.
I've read about every review, and haven't really seen too many bad ones, only bad ones complain about things like looks, which I personally like. Seen different opinions on how rough the ride is, but I can live with it.

So I have been debating on adding another convertbile to the stable.
A few things it must have:
1. A back seat (bummer, or I'd buy another Crossfire ).
2. Decent reliability.
3. Decent power.
4. Decent safety.
5. Must be a used car.
6. No high mileage, I would say 75k+, unless it is an older car, say pre 1980s.
7. Priced at 13k or less.
8. Be in good or great shape.
Age, brand, etc. matters not.
