Fitted jeans for a big guy.

Hi all!
I am in search of a pair of slim, well fitted jeans and as a result I've been sifting through various posts on SF in search of reviews and opinions. I've narrowed my search down to a favourite pair - Acne Mic Raven wash jeans. These jeans are just my style and look absolutely awesome.
There is, however, a small dillema: I am between a 38" and 40" waist, (Closer to 38"), I have large calves and large thighs. (I'm not overwieght, just big!) I don't think Acne makes these jeans in my size,...

Dressier jeans, okay for dining room?

Hi all! I'll be going on my 4th Med. cruise in October and wonder about wearing dressier jeans for dinner. I've never previously done this and plan to wear mostly skirt outfits and dresses in the dining room BUT I've purchased some really nice wide leg, dark, dark denim jeans that are indeed dressier, especially worn with heels. I'm also thinking of picking up a pair of dark denim skinny jeans to wear with heels and dressier tops.

I have been trying to find Spurr Cashmere jeans. I searched this forum but didnt come up with anything. I think I read about them at men.style.com.
Anyway does anybody know where I can find them online or in NYC? And any opinions on them?

3 Pairs of chelsea boots: Opinions needed please (PICS)

Hi. Just need some opinions, what do you guys think of these 3 chelsea boots? I wouldnt say they are the traditional set of boots with pointed toes and slim fitting, but the do keep the stretchy sides. They are all used, and Im just thining of wearing them casually with jeans, maybe a polo or LS casual dress shirt. They are only about $20 each.

PRPS Denim - Any Opinions?

I've spent some time searching through the SW&D forum for reviews on PRPS, but haven't come up with anything particulary useful.
I'm thinking about buying a pair that retails for $400. Given that I typically buy 7s and AGs (be nice), the PRPS are certainly much more than I ever thought I'd spend on jeans.
The fit is good, and the denim certainly feels superior to the 7s and AGs, but I'm curious to hear what the experts have to say on the brand.

Just wanted to get some other opinions in case DH & I went totally overboard.
DH picked DS up at 4.30 yesterday and found him still sitting on his sleeping mattress, no jeans on, no socks or shoes on and a bright red face making it obvious he had been crying for some time. He couldn't really get an answer as to what went on so I was put on the case today to try and work it out.

'Tis the season to be married!
Spring is the beginning of high traffic wedding season. Caterers, florists, bakeries, they are all bracing themselves for the rush if it hasn't already arrived. But one of the things that will draw the most attention on the big day is the dress .
Is there a style that you favor? Is diamond white the only color you imagine wearing if you became a bride? Or is eloping in a favorite shirt and a pair of jeans the way you'd want to go?

just bought a 638. did i do good?

Hey guys i was at a gunshow the other day and i bought a S&W 638-1 bodyguard i paid $393. Its about 90% with some minor scratches on the sideplate. is this a good price or did i get screwed? i think i did pretty well but other opinions are welcome. also i just got an ankle holster for it and to me it looks like i have a giant boil on my leg. are the any specific brands or cuts of jeans that hide a gun better in an ankle?

I know better than wearing plain 'ol jeans, but that's what I've always worn whilst riding. I've been shopping for riding pants lately and I'm not all that excited about anything. Now I'm thinking of body armor and I'm interested to get some opinions. Specifically I need hip and knee protection.
