Thinking about getting a Jackson series guitar

My birthday is coming up, and I think I might get a new guitar,preferably Jackson because of its grundgey, metal sound.
So I like to ask, which one should I get? I don't have that much knowledge for guitars.

-I'm still kinda a beginner
-looking around a 500$ or below price tag

Opinions on Spear & Jackson Mortise Chisels?

I'm trying to replace my modern-age Sorby chisels (bought before I knew better) with better new or vintage steel.
So I'm down to replacing my mortise chisels, and I just acquired a small set of old Spear & Jackson chisels. I find lots of info here on S&J saws, but not chisels. Good steel?
As an aside - while googling, I found S&J's modern website, and I'm pretty sure I found the next revolution in hand toolery!

I've been a member here for about two years now, despite not posting as much as I used to until recently. I think it's about time I got a sig to represent myself.
As you can see, my username -- General Stonewall Taylor -- is a clever little play off of Confederate General Thomas Jackson's nickname from the Civil War era. It represents my opinion of Sean Taylor and the way he commanded both our defense and the opposing offense on the field while he was still with us. I'd like to take it one step...

So many cpomplaints about people expressing their opinions that Michael Jackson diddled little boys.
So if the complainers want to make it all go away, maybe the tribute threads should end. When people see tributes to pedophiles, they tend to express their disgust.
