I have had it with this "single payer" nonsense...
(17 Apr 2009)
To begin with, nobody seems to have any good idea just what it means, although it's somehow the best damn plan out there. According to Wiki, the National Library of Medicine says:
"An approach to health care financing with only one source of money for paying health care providers. The scope may be national (the Canadian System), state-wide, or community-based. The payer may be a governmental unit or other entity such as an insurance company. The proposed advantages include administrative simplic...

Stating that creationism is nonsense is not an opinion. It is a scientific...
(06 May 2009)
There is no debate whatsoever in the scientific community of whether creationism is true, because the evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates that there is no possibility for creationism to be true in a physical reality. If we have to respect people's opinions on things that are as conclusive as the evolution of species, then we might as well not have any schools at all, because why learn when every point of view is as valid as any other. The teacher might have been very blunt about this, because t...

(30 Jun 2009)
Hello.
What a lot of nonsense this is! Goodness, what is the contracting agency world coming to?
Let me ask you. What would you charge for a 10 minute phone call? Go on guess, I dare you
Here's the deal.
As you know we are working towards Grant having his 56 days of respite a year at the one and only nursing home in the state who will have him. This would be 4 respite periods of 14 days each. I of course could phone the nursing home on Grant's behalf and book him in. Well I could, but I can't, b...

adoption nonsense!!
(30 May 2009)
A couple I know have been waiting to adopt for over a year now, they have had every aspect of there life looked into with a fine comb, some of the questions they regularly face are nothing short of amazing, "whats your opinions on this, whats your views on that?" They dont know what to say for the fear of upsetting one yogurt knitting social worker or the other!!! ....Now I'm all for giving a child a guaranteed good life and all that, but in a day and age where any tattooed scrote can have a chi...

Complaint - Don't Even Think About It, Its Not Worth It!, Cable TV
(22 Apr 2009)
I usually don't go online and write reviews, but Direct TV was so bad I decided to write a review.
We took their service six months back.. and trust me.. from Day 1, I ve had problems with them. They claim to have free installation . But watch out! When they come they will say this is not a normal installation you have to pay extra, even for the stupidest thing.
To get someone to come and check, you have to fix an appointment.. and they will give you an appointment may be after 2-3 weeks (if you...
