Holding back at 8.5k Revs ZXR6-G2

Have noticed a problem with my bike.
When i get to 8.5k revs the engine is holding back once it gets to just before 10k it clears & revs up to limiter & also if im in top gear, it wont rev past 8.5k, i had throttle to stop for ages & just didnt go past it.
I was wondering if it might be plugs or carbs?
Am thinking about giving it a service very soon so will do plugs anyway, just after some advice.

Who's LY was getting tints done yesterday? Any opinions / thoughts on the Company / quality.
Got a card off them yesterday as they were fully booked. They charge £105 for the back three windows plus the price of diesel to get to you and back on top if you don't go to one of there centres.
Anyone intersted in a group buy / discount? If so, I'll approach them and see what they'll offer.

Thinking about buying a '97 BA....Should I?

Hey peeps, new on this site, just wanted to get some owners thoughts on an astina im thinking about buying as my first car.
Its a 1997 BA,1.8L 4 sp Auto, Advertised for $8,500. The owner says it has 99,000 kms on the clock.
looks to be in pretty good condition by the pics iv seen, no dents or anything.
completely stock.
Did a revs check and its not listed there.
Rego only till August 09.
soooo what do you guys think?? good car? whats a reasonable offer?

I went to a drift track and I was reving up just fine to 7K just fine, when during one
of my runs I hit a birm and my car shut off, I popped my hood and my coil wire
going to the distributor came off of the distributor. so I plugged it back in, started
up. After that I went to do the run again and as I floored it in first my rpm hits 5,400
and it looses power, just as if I was miss firing like mad!! but its VERY VERY quick
and it slows me down ALOT! then continues to rev up very choppy after 540...

rifle?smg?pistol/rev?sg+sg?

hello ppl. just askin for opinions on my weapon set. i seem to never hit a lot with rifles, but it's the same with smgs. pistols just don't deal enough, and for sg+sg, i tend to run outta shells pretty fast. i've considered revs, but for me, its like putting the sg+sg problem with the rifle problems. i have not tried rockets due to the massive weight, but i predict it will be like the sg+sg. thanks for ur helps.

turbo back opinions

hey,
i've been toying with the idea for months now and last night i spent most of my time browsing videos of people that have chopped the rear box for straight pipes(mufflertoc...somthing or other).
as most of my driving is city start stop revs usually stay between 1 to 2k.
is the turbo back option loud between these revs? i wouldnt mind if it got loud after say 2.5k but anything below i'd want quiet....
my car currently has a piper rs downpipe(no silencer) and jabba remap...
so should i go for...

ATS opinions??

ATS opinions?? I was given an MOT "advisory" just last month about corrosion on my '97 Vectra's back box on the exhaust.
I'm now hearing a hollow rattle from that area at low revs especially. There's an ATS very near me, so I was thinking of getting a price.
I wouldn't touch Kwik-Fit with a barge-pole, but never used ATS before; anyone got any opinions on them, good bad or indifferent? OR should I be thinking of other causes?

need opinions on keeping my 350 tranny or switching

Well when i bought ((boomer)) the truck it had a 350ci/350 transmission with a Hurst shifter...it shifts fine but i need more gears on the highway its screaming and the revs are to high it really isn't that good on gas either even with the stock street gears...Maybe a 700r4 or th400 would be better? can i get some help
