I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...

I used to cycle a lot in 2006-07 when I lived in Vancouver (sometimes +15 miles in one day), but had been bike-less since then... until yesterday.
I just got a used Trek zx6000 off of craigslist for 200 bucks.
Anyone here cycle? I find it's probably helping me detox (I quit mj for good a few months ago), and it wakes me up far better than caffeine! It's a way better hobby/workout than jogging, IMO, because it's easier on the knees, you can cover a lot of distance and see more scenery, and you ca...
