We all read how the Romans had persecuted the early Christians. Now, do you guys think it was due to the Christian Monotheistic view of God, or the Christian condemnation of the Roman culture (orgies, homosexuality, pedophilia, and the abortion practices)?

Do you think Pedophilia fall under the same category? If so do you find it illegal? I'm not too sure if they do or not. Not in practical sense, but in a more conceptual and ethical aspect, do you agree? I'm having a tough time again. I've suffered from years from pure o around a number of sexual themes. For instance incest, pedophilia and at first the gay spike. I have no sexual desire anymore and can't think about sex normally without fear and anxiety. Anyone have any ideas of where I could get some help- books, therapy etc, to help get back to actually having a normal life? Anything helped anyone?
