DO NOT just base your opinion on the performance of these goalies from the past year. Envision the future and examine the past.
Both goalies have their pros and cons. Choose one.

NHL '09/'10 Season Thread
(20 Jun 2009)
Quote: : I know there's a lot of Canadians on this thread, and I know every Canadian hockey fan can't wait for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver less than a year from now. So, for fun, I will choose the players I'd like to see represent Canada this time around.
Forwards: Sidney Crosby, Jarome Iginla, Dany Heatley, Eric Staal, Joe Sakic (if he's still up to it), Rick Nash, Brenden Morrow, Mike Richards, Shane Doan, Joe Thornton, Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis.
Defencemen: Scott Niedermayer,...

NHL starting goalies: Where do you rank Kiprusoff?
(29 May 2009)
Total off-season thread. The last few days, I've been pondering Miikka Kiprusoff's play. He's clearly still a good goalie who can steal a game(though IMO not near what he was from 04-06), but I feel his play has slipped a bit the past 3 seasons. I kept thinking "Is he still top 5? He's probably top 10". But "Top 10" is basically just a phrase that you throw out there without actually analyzing it. Is he really top 10? Is he still top 5 even? I got some time to kill right now so I thought I'd tak...

Ovechkin Quotes - Best player in the NHL
(05 May 2009)
Ovechkin Quote: s:
"I don't really think about the contract right now. I just think about my game and what I have to do better and that's it."
"Nobody ever tells me to give them a pass or anything. My job is to score goals, and if I don't shoot the puck, I can't score goals."
"That's hockey. You never know what's going to happen. It's a tough sport. No tooth, a broken nose, but I'm looking good [laughs]."
"Today was a special day," Ovechkin said with a smile. "I broke my nose, have stitches (and...

Where is the science for "Global Warming"
(25 May 2009)
Seriously, I want to see the real science.
Essentially, Global Warming (as caused by man) is based on the notion that it was observed there was some climatic changes, noting they coincided with the development of using fossil fuels and assuming that since B followed A, A caused B.
Oh, they have computer models, similar to the models used to predict the weather. However, since they cannot predict the weather with any accuracy even ONE YEAR from now, why does anyone believe these Bozos can predict...

League News
I am looking at organizing a speed round possibly in the near future. I want to get some input on what you guys might think would be a good time and day. I was thinking some thing like 7 PM on a Sunday.
On your team lineup page please post a time and day at the top of your lineup post that would be best for you.
Also I am thinking about dropping the OTC time down to 2 hours after round 15. Please post on your lineup post if you think this is a good idea. Just type yes for 2 or no for...

Next season he plays in the NHL
Most likely club: Toronto.

Not beeing draftet, he can pick whatever club...
