After browsing a few online retailers I have found the desire to try a bunch of new stuff...So I was hoping GAF could help me expand my universe and suggest some good drinks.
As for what I currently enjoy:
Beer - Killians, Guiness, New Castle, Arrogant Bastard Ale, Coors Light, Mississippi Mudd (when I can find it) and Red Stripe
Spirits - Captian Morrigans, Rain, Jagermeister...

Oh, Kid Rock. When hes not mashing up Lynyrd Skynyrd with Warren Zevon to produce a massive hit ("All Summer Long"), pimping babes decked out in decidedly non-P.C. Confederate flag bikinis for said song's video or enticing young men to think about joining the National Guard, the self-proclaimed Son of Detroit is trying his hand at creating the next great American beer.

Here is my story
Ive been lifting 3 to 5 days a week for over a decade. Im really like to stay fit and active and never miss workouts. However, my diet isnt tailored towards getting big. I eat 6 small meals a day and always get protein in them but they are minimal calories (about 2000 a day). As such, I have stayed pretty much between 155 and 160 lbs (59) for the last 10 years. Problems with when to bottle beer

I've been trying to do home-brew beer for a while now, basically copying my mate around the corner. Using the same setup, same beer ingredients, same methods, mine don't turn out right.
My main problem is I leave it fermenting for too long. The reason being, I want to wait until the specific gravity gets down low enough before I bottle them so they dont explode. My mate usually waits until its about 1010-1012 before he bottles. That takes him about 1 week usually a bit more. Mine has been now 2...

Any fellow home brewers on POTN? Nothing like kicking back and sipping on a brew that you and yours brewed up yourself, just the way you like it! We have a soda thread so why not have a beer thread.
Choose 3 different beers of different price ranges (Expensive, midrange, cheap) that our your favorites. Defend them if you wish.
Miller High Life : This beer is not bad. I find it better and easier to drink than both Bud Diesel and Miller. It is cheaper and has comparable alcohol content. In a pinch for a party beer, i will buy this and most modest people will not complain.
