I have watched from a distance the ongoing battle to *regain" Truck.Net. I have kept quiet, with minor exception and I figure now is as good a time as any to hit the fan with it.
Let me think back a few years to when I lurked here. There were many, many posters...yeah, sure..the Wild West..I saw the other thread. What I think about Obama

Up till now...I think Obama is another fucking liar who sold everone a bill of goods that he is not going to deliver on...All I have seen him do is TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK TALK.
He has already broken many of his BEFORE HE WAS ELECTED PROMISES. And HE can TALK FOR HOURS and really not say a fucking thing.
He has already said many things I do not agree with and he has already showed me signs that he is just another fuck head politician...but i will say this about him...he was smart enough to fool...

I can't take the credit for finding this. I heard it on the Thom Hartman show. But it was a very inspiring thought to me and I think it's good advise. If we follow Obama's call and "make him do it", we can pursuade him to prosecute the war criminals.

KT, what do you think about obama calling the GM sr bond holders out as unpatriotic (so bushevic of him, no?) for not going along with obama's plan to subvert traditional bankruptcy law and give more of GM to the jr stakeholders (and obama campaign contributors)?
it seems obama is subverting long established law and calling those who hold to the traditional rule of law unpatriotic.
to me it is orwellian. up is down. law is bad. obama's self serving goals are good.
i also think he's out on a limb...

Here's one of the stories about it.
I personally think that it's ridiculous, and I hope it doesn't go through.
I don't like Obama, but it's not him that really gets me worried (I don't think things would be all that much different if McCain was in charge), but the way people treat him. This is one of those examples.

The media is reporting that four former directors of the CIA held up the release of the torture memos -- George Tenet, Michael Hayden, Porter Goss, and John Deutch.
I wish people would just stop and think about these things a little.
