1. Co2 Regulator opinions please   (06 Apr 2009)
Co2 Regulator opinions please I've decided to give my reactor another chance. A big reason I switched to 2 part was that my reactor always ran out of co2 really fast, probably due to the old leaky regulator I had. A new one should fix the problem but I'm unsure of which to get. I don't even know what I have since I bought it used. The 2 I'm considering are : Milwaukee CO2 Kit w/Regulator, Needle Valve, Bubble Counter & Solenoid Valve $139 CND or Reef Fanatic CO2 regulator with dual gauge - this...

4. CO2 emissions - why so different?   (09 May 2009)
Total noob thread to start folks and i'll probably regret it but i was just thinking about this recently. If you have say a BMW 520d manual and a Toyota Avensis diesel that both would roughly do the same miles per gallon - why is the BMW rated to have lower Co2 emissions and thus be in a lower VRT/road tax bracket? I mean they both burn roughly the same amount of diesel so wouldn't that mean that there is roughly same Co2 being emitted?

6. CO2 Machines to help growth.   (02 May 2009)
Anyone have opinions on co2 machines to help plant life along. I would like to grow more fancier plants but believe that plant food alone will not get it. It is suppose to help with Nitrate levels but how do the discus fare with such a thing.

7. Warning, those who fill co2 with bev factory!   (04 May 2009)
To anyone who gets their co2 refilled at beverage factory. Im not sure if this is happening to everyone but it happened to myself twice and another member on here as well and who knows how many others. If you take your co2 tank in to refill and they screw it into their tank and simply open the valve for a minute and then close it you are getting RIPPED OFF .... With out going into details think about this a #5 co2 tank holds what.... hmmm... if you guessed 5lbs of liquid co2 you are correct... W...

9. Couple Of Questions About Pressurized Co2   (10 Apr 2009)
We've decided that we think it's about time we try pressurized co2 instead of the DIY kind (that has never really worked well). Wondering what kind of regulator would be best? They're pretty expensive it seems so thought I'd ask here about which is best for the price? I'm in the US so, any suggestions on ones available here or that can be gotten off of ebay would be nice heh. Also, where is a good place to look for a CO2 tank? Guess this question is aimed for the US folks here heh. Would Home De...
