They're not officially soldiers. They're definately not civilians. However they're still fighting, and dying, in wars and or task-missions that they have no invested interest in except for one thing: money. I am looking for opinions on hired guns. I am going to play an Escher gang and I am considering hiring a Scum and a Ratskin Scout for my first couple of games. The bounty hunter models are great and they are armed to the teeth but at 35 credits I can get one or two Scums and/or a Ratskin scout. Any opinions and/or preferences?

I've been an audiophile for most of my life. I set up a number of systems in my home and at my parents house, and have always had good results. I actually met this dude a couple times. He's pretty nice and I believe use to play Doom, Quake, Quake 2, UT, and Counter-Strike back in the day. He wasn't that good. I always owned him on the Seattle servers.

A little background:
Turning 20 this month and living at home. Only debt is $14k in student loans which is being paid off at $150/month. I've been working full-time in IT on contract at a company for about 8 months now and I am about to be hired on permanently in escalated (level 2 / 3) tech support. Gross salary is going from $30k to $42k. I'll have about 5 months (at least) salary in the bank before i move anywhere. My car is paid off and up to date on all maintenance.

OK, so some of you know my story I do live with my inlaws in a town that they moved to now too long ago. Me nor my husband have an income or anything (desperatley looking for one! but it seems that around here, EVERYONE is and the people who DO get hired it is b/c they "knew " someone there!) Ok and as far as side jobs, I am running across the same thing....yard mowing is now being done by the high school kid off for summer, etc....babysitting is being done by so-and-so who just got laid off.......
