Crysis Enthusiast settings, running 30 FPS want to go higher!
(21 May 2009)
Anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about upgrading from 4 gb ram to like 6 or 8. Also the ram i have is only 1066 when my MOBO supports 1333. Would it help the FPS much if i added two more sticks of 2 gb but instead of 1066 make them 1333 mhz?
AMD Phenom II X4 955 AM3 3.2 GHz
Biostar TA790GX AM3
Seagate barracuda 500 gb 32 mb cache
4 GB 1066 MHz Kingston
Nvidia GTX 260 896 MB

Dog enthusiasts

We are thinking about getting a dog. Since it will be our first I thought I'd get some feedback from some who already have owned one or own one.
What is to think about before getting one? How is it that one has to deal with it? Etc.
About the race we are mostly thinking of a black Schnauzer.

ST. MARYS, Ga. The gale-force winds and heavy rains that swept through Jacksonville on Monday had nothing to do with the arrival of the storm that is Lane Kiffin. In six months as Tennessee football coach, he has managed to tweak, insult or needle much of the Southeastern Conference, especially Florida.

Guitar Enthusiasts
(10 Apr 2009)
I didn't make a poll because I don't know if there are many guitar players in our midst.
In another thread earlier this year I asked which acoustic guitars you prefer. I've only been playing for a few months so I'm very much a newb. I bought a Fender acoustic and have really enjoyed it. I've learned several songs, but mostly strumming type songs. I'm getting better at finger picking as well but it's hard to find the time to practice.
Not that I'm in the market for another guitar (my wife has loc...

Question for Python enthusiasts
(09 May 2009)
I am seriously thinking about getting a Python. To me no respectable firearm collection is complete without one. I've always been a shiny gun kind of guy so naturally I'm leaning toward one in bright stainless steel, probably a 6". The Royal Blue is also very nice but I was wondering what everybody else thinks as far as investment, etc. I think I've read the older ones are more desirable but I could get a newer one instead without any remorse. I have about $1300 saved up now. This was earmarked...
