Rowling, Bloomsbury being sued for plagiarism
(15 Jun 2009)
We've had quite a few discussions on plagiarism and copyright infringement here. And here's another one!

The estate "is also seeking a Court order against JK Rowling herself for pre-action disclosure in order to determ...

The girl killed herself after school ended and I had heard a friend of hers had killed herself shortly before she did. Now the parents are suing the school buy do you think they really have a case? I created a fake account on facebook and posted that I thought a particular person <<Name>> of New York is a whore who spreads her legs indiscriminately (she is an ex of my current guy). I've also tried to friend people from her list of friends so they would see my status message (above) -- your opinions? Thank you

(16 May 2009)
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/may/0...first-amendment
Does it violate the establishment clause? I am not sure. I haven't read a statement from the judge on why he thinks this comment in particular is out of bounds, but other comments made by the teacher which were just as offensive to Christians were fair play. But my question is, what happens when a science teacher is asked her opinion on creationism? Surely every good biology instructor knows the ridiculous nature of intelligent design...
