Desmond's Vision: The reason why Claire didn't get on the helicopter

One big question has been why Claire and Aaron weren't on their way off the island on a helicopter like Desmond had envisioned. Not a lot has been mentioned of it since Charlie died. Is it a red herring? Or have they not had room to explain it yet?
The answer is pretty simple: The island prevented her from leaving. Not a very complex or even new idea... if you've said it before, I'm not trying to take credit.
Think about what was happening to Jack at the time. Their ride home was looming large....

I am after your honest opinions please. My hair is currently blonde (very blonde) and I fancy a change as I think it is too bright. My natural hair colour is Auburn (little bit like Isla Fisher's) and I fancy going darker like a dark honey colour.
My DH agrees and said I would look better a honey colour as my blonde hair is a bit to harsh and doesn't suit me all that much:nea:

I haven't shopped for one of these before, and to be honest I wasn't shopping for one today when I saw it, but it caught my eye and got me wondering... After doing a little research, it looks like it runs another good old non-hacking automatic (7S35?), which is sort of annoying to me but not a deal killer - I rotate watches a lot so my autos frequently power down before they're in the saddle again, so I have to reset the time on a regular basis. It just had me thinking. Now that Sylar brain dead maybe they could give Sylar a sister. We could always say that Samson had another kid. This gir could be his younger sister. Maybe Claire age or a few years older. Her powers could be simular to Sylar being able to take people abillites. Just like Sylar she has to kill to get the abillity.
