If the universe is infinite....then there is no wrong answers

This subject is a hard one for me to figure... If the Universe is infinite, then somewhere out there has to be anything you can think of or couldn't imagine. So if you believe the universe is infinite, then you can't say that someone is wrong.. and i can't say that you are wrong by calling me wrong. believe it or not.. if I say gummy bears are our god... then i am right... but also, anything else can be our god.. including being your own god. This may sound confusing, but that's what you get for...

Refreshrate of the Universe

The speed of light is a limit of speed. Could it be that this limit is based on the refreshrate of the universe?
Perhaps you wouldn't be surprised to hear that I make games, and if you want something to go smoothly instead of skipping pixels you make it go one pixel at a time, and if you have a good refreshrate then it will go decently fast.
My guess is that the Universe don't skip "pixels", so the fastest that something can ever go is one pixel at every "refresh" and this would then be the spee...

Humans live on planet earth which is about 4.5 billion years old. I wonder how big Earth was 4 billion years ago?

Story, the universe, generally fleshiness

I hope I can remember all I was thinking about while on the toilet before posting it here.
Anyway, here goes. I just wanted to express my concern for what I feel is the most important aspect of this game - the story and universe. I've heard a lot of people complain about regenerating health and the like. I don't necessarily agree with RH, but I do think that there are more pressing matters about the game that need to be taken care of.

What is best book to read on the history of the universe and how it "works...

I know there are quite a few physicists (or wannabees at least :)) on reddit so I was wondering if any of you would recommend a good book on "the universe". I was thinking about reading "A brief history of time", but since i always read the 1 star reviews on amazon I don't know what to read anymore.

Generic SF Universe Project

was doing some thinking, and with some talk on a couple of other boards, about a generic SF Universe project, thinking about using the Wiki system like whats being used for the really cool Generica Fantasy Universe project that Killer Shrike is heading up.
first thought being using Heaven and Earth or Galactic 2.4 to generate a Traveller Sector to start with, we could drop the hex map etc, but it would give us a starting point to work from.
