1. Thinking about collecting hockey, need your guy's help though   (14 Jun 2009)
Not sure if its going to be hard to collect both Basketball and Hockey or not. Also with all the names in the NHL it might be tough. Anyways, just wanting to ask if any of you guys are willing to help me out along the way with names, prices, boxes, etc. Also if you guys can help me choose a PC Player for hockey that would be great. MUST be a Detroit Redwing that isnt too expensive (so no Hossa lol). thanx!

3. Lookinf for opinions on whether to join a hockey league or not.   (26 Jun 2009)
I am currently 40 years old and I play in pick up games on Sunday. A few of the guys close to my age want to join a summer league. I know the starting time frames for the games should be a little bit earlier (possibly 8-10) becuase all of the high school kids are out of school. The season is 10 games and playoffs. I want to do it, but I am concered I may wipe out my energy for work. I would appreciate some feedback and what your ages are if you play in a similar league. Thank you.

4. NHL Hockey: Caps vs. Penguins, an objective view from a Caps fan.   (30 Apr 2009)
As a Caps fan, I've been quietly lurking about Penguins forums to get a feel for the enemy camp. After much research and observation I've come to the conclusion that Ovechkin and Co. don't stand a snowball's chance in 'h-e-[double hockey sticks]' of winning a single game, much less scorig a single goal. I admit this freely. It is clear from the Pittsburgh fanbase that their worst case scenario entails a four game sweep and the probable suicide of the Caps first and second lines. After these init...

5. i cant stop thinking about   (10 Jun 2009)
LOL! I sooo did the same ting, but the Hockey playoffs were last night and DH wasn't going anywhere- I'm still contemplating Too funny!

6. Custom bubble hockey team question   (12 May 2009)
I'm buying this bubble hockey game and I'm going to get custom players on both sides. http://www.everygameroom.com/ICE-SC1000X-ICE1009.html I'm thinking about going old Sabres vs. Current ones, but I'm not sure who I should pick for names and numbers. For example: Mogilny, LaFontaine, Hawerchuk Sutton, Svoboda Hasek Vs. Vanek, Roy, Connolly Tallinder, Lydman Miller What would you do? I was thinking about doing original jerseys vs. goatheads for the jerseys, but I can't decide on the players. Sho...

7. If you hate Crosby, you hate Hockey   (16 Jun 2009)
Today Sid was compared to Kobe in the "toss up" segment on PTI. So something as small at a 15 second bit made me think about how good Sid is for Hockey. They compared Crosby to one of the NBA's all time greats who has 4 championships (no I'm not a Kobe fan at all). Yes, Sid didn't have the greatest of playoff series in the finals, but he was the one they talked about concerning winning the championship. The exposure he gets transcends hockey and makes its way into the sports world outside of hoc...

8. Budget Air Hockey Tables?   (10 May 2009)
Hey guys, I am thinking about adding an air hockey table to my game room. I'm not looking to break the budget. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for under $500. Thanks everyone.

9. The Hockey News Magazine Has Me Disappointed   (25 Jun 2009)
I made this thread to see what other people think about The Hockey News and if they have the same opinion of mine. I've been a subscriber to The Hockey News for almost 4 years but I have made the choice not to renew my subscription. There's nothing wrong with the price of $50 for the year. Problem is, issues just keep getting smaller and smaller with not as much info in them. I love their site and think they have a lot of info but the magazine is not the same. When I first subscribed 4 years ago...

10. Issues with bad hockey parents!! Help!   (07 May 2009)
(long read sorry, very angry!) My son is 4.5 years old and is playing in his second set of 8 week learn to play hockey classes. He is by far the smallest and youngest skating with these kids who range from 6 to 12 I would guess. He holds his own, he can skate. Just slower than everyone else. Im really proud of him, before I left for a couple months in Iraq He could barely skate. He would do the skate board push to get himself around the ice. Now that I am home Im shocked and excited by how much...
