Think About A Digital SLR

I'm tired of using the gf's crappy Pentax P&S plus not having my own camera erks me. I've played with the idea of buying a DSLR a few times now but never have.
I'm thinking I might buy one used now and I want some opinions.
I've heard good things about the D60. Looking to spend a max of $400, hence why going used.

I'm thinking about trading my Avalanche for a Magnum. Going to be a new daddy next month, and would like to cut some costs...

I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...

Plus/Plus Situation Regardless Who Starts

Talking about the QB's (Kellen and Mark), really its a plus plus situation regardless who starts. Mark Sanchez for the obvious reasons: excitement, publicity, overwhelming talent, official start of a new era.
But really I'm trying to drift away from that in this post.
If Kellen gets the start this year first things first Mark gets a year to learn the system. If he plays well (which will be hard for him not to do with the defense/running attack), he becomes a RFA next year and he probably can be...

I've never had satellite radio before. I really want it for the MLB package, plus I drive 2 hours a day and it gets boring.
I don't want to spend too much on a radio, plus I want something portable. Is the set up similar to an iPod set up (FM modulator)? Any suggestions?

So I'm not an apple guy and know next to nothing about macs.
But I'm looking to get into some iphone apps development, so I'm thinking about getting a macbook.
But I can't decide if I should go with a 13 or 15. When I bought my HP last year, I found that the smaller models were more expensive than the larger ones, so I was surprised to see that the macbook pro 15" is about $200 more than the 13" with the same specs. Plus, they charge $349 for AppleCare for the 15 instead of $249 for the 13".
