1. Bit down - thinking about pulling out of the sale - opinions would be valued...   (01 Jul 2009)
Hello everyone Well as you will know if you read my other thread, I thought I had found the perfect (or near anyway!) horse. However, I have now learnt a few more things about him - and would value your advice about whether to go ahead (luckily no money has changed hands yet). 1. He is a bit bargy both in and out of the stable - as in he will push you with his head. He is fine to lead though. Is this easy to cure? He has been a bit spoilt I think and even his owner admits that - she lets him gra...

2. What do you think about these ideas on the perfect creation of man and Gods...   (20 Jun 2009)
My dear friends I've just been thinking as follows and would like your opinions and contribution on this subject too. In order for God to create a perfect world and beings He had to create beings ( us ) who would rebel. The reason for this is that God is infinite Love and the greatest expression of love is sacrifice. The greatest sacrifice is infinite sacrifice. If we never rebeled God would not have been able to show us His infinite love for us by His infinite sacrifice on the cross. God loves...

3. Freddie Mercury..greatest ever..w do U think?   (11 Jun 2009)

4. Wiisports the Greatest Game! * Nintendo's Revolution *   (22 Apr 2009)
Its not my favorite game but favorite games are opinions. The fact is it sold the most copies. So it has the best claim of best. Other stuff is just opinions. Favorites are opinions.

5. Latest and Greatest New Gear - opinions wanted   (31 May 2009)
So what's caught your eye lately? Some new stuff at Trail Days I found interesting are the floorless shelters by AT (Appy Trails) http://www.appytrails.com/ and the reintroduced "Nomad" tent http://lightheartgear.com/faq.html improved and made and marketed by a completely different company.

6. Greatest Song Ever Written?   (12 Jun 2009)
Normally I'd say even thinking about picking the greatest song ever written would be a foolish endeavor but I'm feeling foolish today and am going with my gut on this one and going to say... Suspicious Minds as performed by Elvis Presley ! Evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q04_ClDxRsk What's your pick?

7. What generation of consoles has provided the greatest innovation for gaming...   (23 Jun 2009)
I was thinking about this the other day and decided to start a poll. Arguments could obviously be made for any generation for being the most innovative, but I'd have to go with the Playstation / N64 / 3DO / Jaguar gen. This was the first gen (not counting Sega's 32X) to introduce true 3D graphics and, with the introduction of disc-based gaming and the ability to use a console for something other than gaming for the first time (such as music listening), consoles took the first step toward being t...

8. Greatest song bridges   (22 Jun 2009)
What (in your opinions) are the greatest written song bridges? One thing--the Beatles are excluded (as far as I'm concerned, a one word answer of "Beatles" would just end this thread!) My pick (right now) is the bridge from "Don't Do Me Like That" by Tom Petty.

9. Saints Row 2: Greatest Co-Op Game of All Time   (07 Jul 2009)
When you think about it... it's really sad the number of games that have promised online co-op (COD4, Kane and Lynch, Killzone 2, Ghostbusters, et al) versus those that actually delivered (Gears of War 1 and 2, Saints Row 2, maybe WaW... I can't think of any others. The co-op in Saints Row 2 extends not only through the Story mode... but all of the mini games and cutscenes within the story mode. It's a team effort from beginning to end. And while it's buggy as all hell, it succeeds in being fift...

10. Something to think about...   (30 Jun 2009)
There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution. John Quincy Adams
