Thinking about buying a "max"

I have been having this nagging desire to get a max ever since my new 50" TV arrived at Xmas time. I have been trying to hold off for the past 5 months, but am slowly gravitating toward HD. I presently use a Kbox, which is an awesome box, have had viewsat pro, extreme, both of which were very good boxes.
I do like to experiment with different boxes, and would love to get some HD into my new TV. What I need to know is how happy are you guys with your Max receivers? HD working great? (at least the...

I'm tired of using the gf's crappy Pentax P&S plus not having my own camera erks me. I've played with the idea of buying a DSLR a few times now but never have.
I'm thinking I might buy one used now and I want some opinions.
I've heard good things about the D60. Looking to spend a max of $400, hence why going used.

Thinking about buying Max HD

Hi,
I am an absolute newbie to satellites. Right now I'm using the viewsat extreme, and I'm thinking about upgrading to an HD receiver.
First of all, how does the Max HD get HD programing? Do you have to buy an attachment? Do I need to buy a special dish? How many HD channels do you get? I'm just trying to see if its worth the money to upgrade or not.
Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Folding bike max frame width? opinions

Hi everyone,
I posted a similar thing on the bike mechanics section of this forum but thought I should ask the people who really deal with this stuff.
I'm working on a design for a new folding urban/light trail bike. Part of the design necessitates an upper frame that is made from two pieces, meaning that the minimum clearance between your knees (when pedalling) will be about 140mm, give or take a few mm.
Is that something you think you could tolerate? If it meant you could have a light, strong...

I need opinions on Nutro Max weight control. I was in Petco yesterday and was all set to buy Nutro Natural for weight management, but all they had was tuna flavor. I then picked up Blue for weight mgmt. There was a Nutro rep in the store and he convinced me to try the Nutro Max. I talked to him about the corn gluten in it and he said its a protein choice. Now I know this is probably sacralige, and I apologise :-D
But although I am a HUGE Lucasarts adventure fan, and have played and finished all of them other than, despite many attempts to play Sam & Max Hit the Road I could not get into it. I love Steve Purcell and I loved the humour, but found the puzzles to nonesensical and frustrating. No idea why, I finished Curse in 3 days. Full Throttle in 5 (not boasting jusr saying) both without any help from guides at all.
