What is the thing with short men and basketball?
Okay, yes, basketball is a fine exercise for fitness and coordination, I don't doubt that. And since I don't mind a story, it's a short but odd road how I come to the question.

ok i have never played basketball but i am pretty good i can shoot a lot of 3's from the wing and decent at the line and so i am thinking about trying out next year for my HS basketball team so i was wanting to know what general info i should know about basketball.

Hey guys, just wanted to post this thread to talk about the different sports.
Currently, I'm collecting only football, but I'm really thinking about collecting basketball or baseball. Which should I collect, keeping in mind that I like both sports equally?
I'm kinda frustrated with football product because the hits don't get as high as baseball or basketball. I mean Jordan autos, Lebron Autos, Bryant Autos, Ruth GUs, Gehrig Gus, etc.
Those cards are worth so much more compared to what football g...

Me and my buddy were talking about old times last night, and we got to thinking about this basketball set. Anyone able to ID what set this is about? I've looked and looked and looked, and can't come up with anything....

This is a classic basketball forum, alot of trash talk and very little basketball. I moved from Utah to AZ 8 years ago and have missed my Jazz. Memphis fans, you may now begin freaking out. Kentucky fans, you may now begin getting slightly unnerved.
According to the Memphis Commercial-Appeal, the NCAA sent a letter to the Memphis athletic department today alleging major violations against the school's basketball program under John Calipari .

Any avid readers out there - like me? I read a couple new books each month, mostly non-fiction, but also novels, poetry, etc. Been doing it since about 6th grade and that was quite a few decades ago. Anyway, have been thinking about my all time favorite BASKETBALL BOOKS of which I must have read around 50 over the years. World's tallest b-ball player
This just seems odd to me. Did anyone else wonder what, exactly, those Chinese have been up to for the last 30 odd years? Has there ever before been even one Chinese person born over 6'5"? I dunno, this just strikes me as something to think about. How is it that historically short people suddenly have produced the two tallest basketball players in the world?
