1. Apple iphone, have you been able to get a better deal?   (14 Oct 2008)
I've been with O2 for 7 years and am currently on a 12 months contract which gives me 1000 texts and 600 mins for £35 a month. My contracts up for renewal in December and I'm thinking about going for an Apple iphone, however, on a £45 contract I'd only get 500 texts and 600 mins and I'd be locked in for 18 months. So, I'll be paying £10 more a month and losing 400 texts, plus I'll be tied into my contact for an addditional 6 months, my questions are:Has anyone managed to negotiate a better deal...

3. The 2008 Election DCEmu Forums:: The Homebrew & Gaming Network :: PSP Dreamcast...   (23 Oct 2008)
Well, the United States election is coming up very soon. We all know the main candidates Barack Obama (Democrat) and John McCain (Republican) and Vice Presidential candidates Joe Biden (D) and Sarah Palin (R). I'm not going to give my opinions on these men, however, I encourage anyone who doesn't know as much as they think they should about either candidate to do some research and vote (beware of media bias from both sides). As in the real election, votes will be private. So no one will start fl...

4. you can bash a product, but it's not fair to bash an entire company. DCEmu...   (14 Nov 2008)
Now, a topic like this, is a lit fuse just waiting to run out before the explosion. I've been spending a lot of time thinking about getting another 360., The problem is, even though most 360 fans will claim that the red ring issue is fixed, most serious gamers that play for long amounts of time "that i know of" have their 360 burn out in about a years time. We could debate the facts and figures, but we all know lots of people that own 360s., as do I, and Ive noticed it to be about the average li...

5. Apple iPhone Battery Lawsuit Dismissed   (26 Sep 2008)
Apple can be the target of many lawsuits, some more justified than others. Bloomberg reports today that the lawsuit has been dismissed without a trial in a summary judgement. Quote: : "Apple disclosed on the outside of the iPhone package that the 'battery has limited recharge cycles and may eventually need...

8. Why netbooks will soon cost $99   (06 Nov 2008)
Why netbooks will soon cost $99Prediction: The era when subnotebooks are subsidized like mobile phones is here -- almost Mike Elgan 03/11/2008 08:39:00 Subnotebooks like the Asus Eee PC, the Dell Mini 9 and the HP 2133 Mini-note will soon cost as little as US$99. The catch? You'll need to commit to a two-year mobile broadband contract. The low cost will come courtesy of a subsidy identical to the one you already get with your mobile phone. The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that HP is alr...
