The next installment in Christopher Nolan's insanely successful Batman series, tentatively titled The Caped Crusader, is allegedly subject to a piece of casting that is surely going to send fandom and messageboards into overdrive: apparently Nolan himself wants Cher to play Catwoman.

Phy wrote an excellent piece about The Dark Knight a couple months ago, and now it's a closed thread so I have to start a new one.
My thought experiment is this: Given that the themes played out in the movie are fundamental to human nature and can be related to Christian theology, could there have been a way to write essentially the same story from within a Christian worldview, that wouldn't have killed it?

So after spending a good few hours playing Lego Batman - which bears absolutely no relation to Chris Nolan's interpretation of the character and yet is still brilliant - I got to thinking about where the cinematic Batster can/will go next.
