2002 Tour Bootleg (2 Disk & Cover Art)
(23 Sep 2008)
INFO:
GNR 2 Disk 2002 Tour Bootleg
The sound quality is good. As most people already have these songs or the entire shows in which they came from in multiple formats, these tacks are in MP3 form.
I put this together more or less for the newer people getting into the band. With a new album out soon I thought this would help pass the time for those just getting into the band. Sure the arguments can be made that in 2002 he didnt sound as good as in 2006, The band changed some more and the line...

I Love/Hate This Cover Art
(21 Oct 2008)
Thread is for discussion of cover art in general. My first post here is a lament about some that I dislike, but I figured there's no need to be restrictive. Feel free to discuss ones you like if you want.
The "On Elves and Things" thread got me thinking about a book series that I really like again and how much it annoys me that the cover art is a misrepresentation of the contents.
This is the cover for the first book. The depicted character is Loiosh, the main character's familiar.

I wrote a fantasy novel. Need opinions / advice
(15 Nov 2008)
Well as the title implies I've written a book and by book I mean that there is a paperback copy sitting on my shelf. It hasn't been published, just self-published, but in a manner that I retained the right to actually be published if I get the chance. I even commissioned the cover art myself, and let me say he did an AWESOME job!
I've been searching the web for places to get opinions or reviews, but many are costly or restrictive in some way as to your right to take the book elsewhere. (Most rec...

Cover Art

Please, let's not have Adam pointing a gun right in our faces. DX1 had very nice box art in my opinion, emphasized the conspiracy feel and night-time setting of the game.

Cover Art for NaNoWriMo Entry
(29 Oct 2008)
I am attempting the National Novel Writing Month challenge (NaNoWriMo for short). One of the interesting things I found was that you could upload some cover art for your novel. So I took a little time earlier tonight and created a basic cover for my entry, Rhapsody. I am posting it here for some opinions and ideas for improving upon it. All comments and suggestions are appreciated, so don't be afraid.
Here's the cover art:

(25 Sep 2008)
CD Spin Review: Which was your favourite cover art? Nancy is still giving out a prize for the best cover / packaging for the CD Spin, and she'll be deciding herself who she thinks should win, but she will be swayed by your opinions!
So, what was your favourite spin packaging? Post scans/photos of it and say why you liked it and why you think Nancy should let that one win. Feel free to pimp out your own spin too and say that you should win!
Then, if you want to, feel free to chat about the music,...

Posted: 9:01 pm 15 Nov Song Tagging And Album Art Do you bother to tag your MP3/WMA/ATRAC/AAC/Other files with correct title, artist, album, year, genre and other information, or do you leave tag fields only half-filled?
A month or so back I tagged my files with their full properties. Now that I have some time on my hands, I'm going to re-do the cover art, becau...

[MINI ALBUM] Epik High ★ LOVESCREAM
(30 Sep 2008)
Epik High is coming with a new much anticipated mini album titled LOVESCREAM. That consists in songs they have written before Pieces Part One project, so yes, we'll have a Pieces Part Two as soon as they do it. This new mini project talks about love, mostly only love, not like their all their latest albums, where they were engaged in important causes. The mini-album itself sounds really obscure and not "lovable", if you get it. Sounds like a pain, but even worse than One, which was horridly pain...

SEPTEMBER SUBFEATURE: First Blood anthology
(03 Sep 2008)
Okay people, we all know how great this anthology is – after all, many of us already read it last month. Here's how I described it: "It's kind of like the Holidays are Hell and Dates from Hell anthologies in that it features four A-list authors. This one includes vampire stories from Chris Marie Green, Meljean Brook, Erin McCarthy and Susan Sizemore. It's kind of like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup for paranormal fantasy fans – but instead of a creamy blend of peanut butter and chocolate, this is a...
