1. Thinking about getting into the business,I need some very honest opinions...   (26 Oct 2008)
Hello, I have a very good and extensive history in sales.I am very good with people and deal with the public everyday. I am thinking about getting into this business on my own full time from scratch.I have been in the business before working in the St Louis area for about 3 years. I had a great time and the guy I worked for made very good money. The STL area was very good. I now live in Georgia. I have done a little homework around the area to see what kind of residential market I would have out...

2. Thinking about moving to Japan, need some opinions.   (03 Nov 2008)
Hello everyone, I'm new here, but I'm looking for some input. I'll try not to go into great detail of the events of my life that have gotten me to this point, I don't want to bore everyone. So I'm 21 years old, college didn't work out for me after high school for various reasons. So here I am now, trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, and over the past month I've been seriously considering going to school in Japan. Everyone has their own reasons for wanting to do certain things, I...

3. Thinking about fighting a speeding ticket   (22 Sep 2008)
All right, I wanted to get your opinions on this and see if I have a chance of fighting this in court. I got a speeding ticket on Highway 66 going from Evansville going into nearby Chandler. This is a four-lane highway. When you get out of Evansville the speed limit is 60. Right before you get to the Chandler city limit it drops to 50, a tenth of a mile, 45. Now, if you aren't on your toes looking at all the signs posted it's really easy to get thrown off, since the highway remains 4 lanes and t...

4. Thinking about what to do for college   (09 Nov 2008)
I'm a junior this year at high school and as of lately, I've been really thinking about college. I know for sure I want to go for computer's, preferably dealing with hardware, and fixing computer's, but I'm in a bit of a slump as to what courses I should take. So, I may be wrong, but I believe that computer science has more to do with computer software, and programming, while computer engineering has to do with more hardware. A lot of schools offer computer science, but not so many offer compute...

5. Thinking about moving from OR   (09 Nov 2008)
Hi, I'm interested in the idea of FSP. I want to ask a few questions, and see if I can convince myself and my wife to move there. We're in the West Coast in one of the liberal bastions/cities. We both believe that there are too many regulations in the US, and we both believe that tax is too high. My wife will soon become a pharmacist. Are there plenty of hospitals there? She doesn't like working in retail/community pharmacies, and working in a hospital pharmacy will be her goals. Second, I am in...

6. Thinking about buying a different trail bike?   (03 Nov 2008)
I am thinking about buying a bike for more trail riding then anything. But can not make up my mind as of yet. I am leaning more towards a 08 or 09 KTM 300xc or 08 or 09 KTM 450exc or what about the new 09 Husaberg FE450 (that is if you can find one)? Right now I ride a 06 KX250F that weights 204 lbs and has a one tooth smaller front sprocket and a 3 tooth bigger rear spocket, which seems to work good on the trails in GPNF. I weight around 200lbs with all my riding gear on and am 6'1" tall. Just...

8. What do you THINK about THIS....   (13 Nov 2008)
What do you THINK about THIS.... Ok, I am really not sure how I get on all these mailing lists. I am constantly unsubscribing to things....but anyway I have gotten emails with info on "NAIS". Here is the latest one. "Don't sign up for animal ID system Friday, November 7, 2008 9:37 AM PST Editor: People who sign up for the NAIS (National Animal Identification System) - even those who are signed up without their knowledge - may find that they have signed a "no-knock lease" with the USDA. Who, in t...

9. RRFF Review - something to think about…   (10 Oct 2008)
This post is not going to make me the most popular bloke on here, but sharing opinions and providing information is the greater purpose of this website so I’ll have a crack. As an Ausfisher (with a background in science) I was at one of the recent RRFF meetings and was astonished with the way the DPI&F estimates of recreational catch and the varying estimates of the stock assessment (5 estimates ranging from conservative to less conservative) were immediately discounted as “fudged figures” and “...

10. Please start thinking about the CMG Meet-Up No. 2   (03 Nov 2008)
If you have been following the CMG Contributor's thread—probably not the best place to discuss a forthcoming Meet-Up—then you know there is substantial interest in such an event. Since the original idea came from our dear Canadian friend, Henry Slofstra, we hope he will be involved again. Werner Isler, our esteemed long-time CMGer will be coordinating things again. We will need to select a month that is convenient for everyone (February 2008 was our last meet-up), then select probably a weekend...
