Hey guys, the wifes '06 Magnum SRT8 is about to run out of its lease. It only has 32,000 miles on it and the buyout option is $22,000. I have looked around online and havent really seen anything that is better close to that price range.

(28 Sep 2008)
hey everyone, i'm on the fence on whether or not i should buy a 08-09 335i coupe at the beginning of the year and i need some opinions.
background info: im 20 years old making about $27-$28k a year AFTER taxes. currently driving a base 2005 Nissan 350Z that i purchased for $22,000 last year (still have about $9k left to pay on it). i have no bills other than the car note.

New (Used) Car
(06 Nov 2008)
So this January, when I get out to Illinois, I'm looking at a smaller car to replace the pickup. It's just not feasible for a daily commuter. I'm looking for something $20k or less. I'm not looking for something "sporty," so please don't suggest some 1970-1980 Z car or something. I was thinking along the lines of a Jetta, Corolla, or Avenger. I don't need anything too big, just a small-medium sized 4-door.
e.g. I found a 2008 Jetta with 22,000 miles (a lot for one year, yes) for $14,500. That's...

Topic: Pros/Cons on a tail factor selection techinique?
(20 Oct 2008)
So, I have seen a technique for selecting a tail factor while at work, that I'd like to get others opinions on. This is really only applicable for mid to long tail lines.
So, let's say you are looking at a line of business, say general liability for example, and you have developed your triangles, and made a tail factor selection on a cumulative incurred triangle. Next up would be your triangle squaring on a cumulative paid basis. What I have seen done, is to select a tail factor on a paid basis,...

2002 Steel Gray 6spd for sale -
(01 Nov 2008)
Thinking about selling my 2002 Steel Gray M3. It has just over 74000 miles and just had a thorough checkup right before it went out of warranty a little over a month ago. It has headers, AR25 resonators, magnaflow exhuast. It also has angel eyes and 19" velocity motoring rims on it. I'm selling it to get a truck. I do outside sales for a dealership, so I can sell through the dealership if needed. Looking to get the best offer over 22,000. Pricing it low to make a quick transaction.

Simple yes no poll - have you won a prize from a sweep that was $10k or more...
(24 Sep 2008)
Part of me thinks I should have won something BIG by now, after 2 years of full time sweeping.
Of course the rational part of me knows its a total crap shoot. My total sum of prizes is over
$22,000 and the biggest of those is almost $6500, so I am not complaining, just wondering...
What really got me thinking about it was a winners announcement email I recently got, and a
lot of you probably got, from Klein Tools - where they announced the winner of the truck. What
caught my attention was that i...

Just got my 3rd VW :)
(20 Nov 2008)
Hiya all, figured I'd sign up here as I don't have any plans to ever buy anything that's not a VW or an Audi
I've just got (yesterday) a Silver MK4 Golf 2002 (52) 1.6 S 16V 5dr with only 22,000 on the clock
My first VW was a Pearlescent Green 'N' reg Corrado 2.9 VR6 Storm with 9,000 on (miss that car so much ), then a Green 1998 'R' reg 1.9 TDI MK3 Golf.
Been a VW lover for near 10 years now and I thought I'd sign up and say hi.
I didn't modify my Corrado in any way, I wanted to keep it 100% ori...

Six week update
(23 Sep 2008)
First, thanks for all the hugs and prayers for the new job! I got it! Yahoo! Means a $22,000 a year raise. Looking forward to that!
Anyhow, I was thinking about the last 6 weeks and came up with some notes.
Here goes:
1. Surgery is NOT fun and it's uncomfortable. My back was killing me the first two weeks.
2. Nips are SENSITIVE. Holy crap am I glad that is over Don't worry you gals that are experiencing that fiery rage right now, it does go away. I promise.
3. Getting sized for a bra is not fun...
