1. Honestly, when you think about it...   (23 Dec 2008)
...very few game companies actually LISTEN to their fans. I think a good example of a video game company that LISTENS to it's fans is Insomniac. Think about this for a second: When the first three Ratchet and Clank games came out, we enjoyed them a lot. Then Deadlocked came in, and fans quickly went disappointed. Insomniac listened, and made Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction, which had all the same elements of the original three games. Then we were happy again. Most other game companies do...

2. 2 Appeals, 1 Dr, 2 Verdicts   (07 Nov 2008)
Afternoon all. As a sort of part 2 to my post "Appeal Sucked!!!" I've just discovered something that may help me but I would like your opinions. Going through some old paperwork I've noticed that the Dr at Tuesdays tribunal was the same one I had at an appeal tribunal in 2006. Back then I was on LRC & LRM and at the appeal the Dr raised it to HRM because he said I was virtually unable to walk. Before my appeal on Tuesday my CAB rep said if I recognised any of the panel it was very important that...

3. Disapproved Caches: Cache Appeal   (14 Oct 2008)
I would like to bring this up for some feedback from other cachers. I recently placed a cache in a neighboring state that I visit on a weekly basis. I have read and fully understand the cache placement guidelines and understand them to be just that…guidelines. I appealed the decision of the reviewer and now following the next step in the appeal process. Here is the guideline I would like to get your opinions on…. • Caches near, on or under public structures deemed potential or possible targets f...

4. Hello! and an appeal for opinions   (27 Dec 2008)
Wow, it's been a while. Hello, everyone! It's good to see so many familiar names around. I'm now an architecture student; in the long interval since I was last here I've finished school, spent the best part of a year larking about in the African bush, and done my first term of uni. I've dropped back in again because a holiday project I have involves designing a place for a poet to work. I'd very much appreciate views and input of any sort from people here - where do you write? Why? What's import...

5. Steelers' Harrison to appeal NFL fine   (14 Oct 2008)
Quote: : Steelers outside linebacker James Harrison was in surprisingly good spirits for someone who was fined $20,000 by the NFL for criticizing the officiating in Sunday night's 26-21 win at Jacksonville. Just don't ask him what he thinks about his punishment. "I have no comment because I can't get fined for something that I don't say," Harrison said following Wednesday's practice, the team's final one before heading into its bye week. "Right now, if you have questions for me, I have no commen...

6. Movie That won't appeal to Youngsters   (17 Oct 2008)
I was once again thinking about a machinima because my first one was shot down as a RvB remake. I was thinking about a person who is in the military, he is not in the action completly by wandering thoughts. He thinks of his family and there well-being most of the time. He sends messages to them daily to no prevail. When he gets his 4 week leave, he heads home. He don't tell his wife because he wants to make a suprise. He finds that his wife has left him, taken the kids, and left him with nothing...

7. Appeal Tips: Getting a Botter Unbanned?   (21 Nov 2008)
So I have about a dozen botting skillers/pures that bot 7-15 hours a day. These were my first to get banned (banned at the same time, but completely different names). I was thinking about making up a story, but what story would really work? Account 1: - Trained combat to about 19. - Nearly 55 mining. - 2 cooking, because the script always used lamps on cooking. - Banked over 1m worth of ores. - Same ip as all of my other accounts, but this one was maybe 10 days old. Account 2: - Hardly used bott...

8. An appeal - Donate early this year   (03 Dec 2008)
Gang, If you have kids and you usually go through your old toys after Christmas, please try to do it before Christmas this year. Those old toys could be new toys for other impoverished children this year and it could mean the difference between them having a Christmas present and not having one. Our family got involved with an elementary school in Kingsland Texas called PackSaddle elementary, it is a very poor school and some of the kids only have one outfit to wear every single day. We donated...

9. SS White Top Visor - How Appealing Is It?   (22 Oct 2008)
With some discussion going on about the SS white top visor for sale, I thought it might be fun to have a poll about how it's visual appeal. Some collectors think it's ugly. Personally I think it looks like something from a gay pride parade. What do you guys think about how it looks? I won't mention the $55,000 price tag yet - oh I guess I just did.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/oops.gif) Anyway here it is - (IMG:http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n219/tonyss_2006/ORIGINAL%20SS%20ITEMS/SS-WHITE...

10. Help! Appealing tickets?   (24 Nov 2008)
Have any of you ever appealed a ticket? How did it go? I got my first ticket a couple of weeks ago and I'm thinking of appealing it... See, I was leaving a gas station I'd never been to before and I got in line behind four other cars to exit. It was a perfect exit that would spit me right back onto the road I wanted to be on... except when it was my turn to go, I noticed a "Do Not Enter" sign. It was not easily noticeable; I couldn't see it until I was practically in the road (I'm going to go ta...
