For its third anniversary, the highly portable 4G iPod nano gets a new tall and slim design, Genius Playlists, audio recording and other new software features, twice the RAM at the same price, and a new array of colors. It continues to offer high quality audio, and plays video games, podcasts, TV and movie downloads, and movie rentals. Apple still refuses to give it a capital n, however.

This trip was planned rather last minute as I happened to find some great airfares with Sun Country, yes, the one that filed for bankruptcy. We were up at 3am to get to the airport, dreading the long day ahead of us. It was a 6 hour flight with a layover in Dallas. My dependable 2002 Titanium Powerbook's wifi just died on me. Very sad, but its kind of a mixed blessing b/c I've had my eye on a Macbook Air or Macbook Pro for some time. Problem is, its not competitive anymore.
