NEED YOUR OPINIONS - MENU FANS
(04 Jan 2009)
hi ladies,
Ok so soday i have been busy designing my reception menu fans and i need your opinions as to what each looks like.
I've stopped myself at only designing six of them cause if i keep going its going to make the process of choosing a design so much harder.
So ive labelled them one thru to six for easy reference need honest opinions and keep in mind im having an art deco era themed wedding, so all the graphics and fonts are deco specific.
Cheers Chrissy xoox

Your Opinion, Please! - Black & White or Ivory & Beaded
(19 Nov 2008)
Seeking opinions...
I first saw this Carolina Herrera dress a year ago and fell in love with it (not a fan of the bows in back but adore everything else) but put it out of my mind since my budget will never include a $5000 wedding dress!
I had pretty firmly decided on this Lazaro dress instead. I was going to have a replica made for around $400.
However, I just found a bridal shop in New York (http://www.juliusbridal.com/) that says they can make a replica of the first (Black & White) gown for $...

Dear Momma's Boy:
A cursory exam of the November ballot suggests that you personally
nominated or seconded over half of the candidates. This is cause for
concern on two fronts.
First, your AUK freak culture is foundering so badly that you have to
put in untoward efforts to try to keep it propped up. You could be
spending that time writing pedantic diaries at DailyKos, Mince. Or you
could be performing groundbreaking resear...

More Will
(04 Jan 2009)
I had originally put this into the game-thread about Will Baker's productions but it didn't really fit the game format and I want everyone to see it because I see this as a now-critical issue. My appologies to rodiosito for vacating his or her thread. It read as follows:
How appropriate!
I've been thinking about starting a thread like this for quite some time but haven't out of respect for Kylie. But apparently I'm not the only one with these thoughts.
To start with, over the years, Will has bee...

The haul arrived safely
(08 Nov 2008)
After all the aggro, my bling arrived on schedule. I hadn't bought for ages, Wibbly's recent piccies made me take a closer look at the website and I found lots of interesting silver rings. Got a fair few for a shufti, but most are going back for various reasons.

OK, these are the third and fourth morganite rings I've ordered. They're a vast improvement on the other two, but you know what,...

Tulsa Losing Heritage
(24 Oct 2008)
Anybody catch the guest editorial by Richard Moe, President of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in the Tulsa World?
Interesting to read his comment that Oklahoma has "one of the best rehab tax credit programs in the nation." Now that the City Council has finally approved a historical survey of downtown buildings...perhaps more building owners will think about rehab, and ARK wrecking will have less influence over our unique and historic downtown skyline.

Back in the land of the living...
(05 Jan 2009)
Hi guys!
Sorry I've been gone so long - but internet on the ship is just impossible - its soooo slow and soooo expensive - like R1/minute!
I'm back in Sydney now and hopefully off to Brisbane in the next few days - so any ideas on a good suburb to settle in are most welcome! (good schools is the priority!)
I've included a couple of emails here that I sent out to the family as, of course, this is my second family! Just to keep you updated on what has been going on the last few weeks.
Will catch u...
