I have a couple of questions about Australian medical schools.
I'm a US Citizen at a US undergraduate institution in the process of finishing my degree. Next summer, I'll start applying to medical schools.

Saw this on a car forum I am active on.
It seems traffic cameras in Australia are quite aggressive...which is disappointing to see it seems backwards that way.
In Canada they do mail out fines but cannot attribute demerit points to them because they cannot prove who was actually driving the car.
Is there no threshold for the cameras to go off? Although I personally have only been caught by a camera once...

Are the UK and Australia becoming more or less racist?

Was thinking about this earlier on today and talking with some friends about it. I said that I thought England was generally becoming a less racist society ect, but nearly everyone else seemed to disagree. Would be interesting to find out what the Aussies think about Australia.
By racist as a general term, I mean prejudice by the general population against people of other races. I think (that in the UK at least) there has been massive steps made by the Government and the BBC to try and stamp out...

yerp. Australia says goodday LOL. I have been looking forward for a LONG time for this game. Any other aussies around? hmm well the only thing I'm worried about is the $$$ of this game. I think Lucasarts and Bioware would receive a big A if the game had low fees. Lets put it this way, the lower the fees, the more players.
But I am very impressed about how this game is being handled and I hope for a release sometime soon. 2010 around about would be perfect :P.

In the market for a 24" LCD for home / gaming use on my PC. Lots of brands / models to choose from. After lots of web searching, thinking about the model in the title.
Is a TN screen, 1920x1200, tilt, swivel, height adj, USB hub, VGA, DVI and HDMI, speakers, audio in/out. All the basics I was after. About $470 here in Australia. Opinions about tis one? Any other brands / models that have similar features?

Anyone taking their car to Australia

Hi,
Just wondered of anyone had looked into taking their car to Australia.
We have a Citroen C8 and appear to have lost about 4K on it since we bought it last year so we were wondering if we should take it with us.
Would be interested if anyone else has done the same or thinking about it and has got some outline costings.
