What's up everybody, I'm fairly new to the BMX game. I've been skating for a good 7-8 years at this point and I'm looking for something new. Street BMX caught my interest, so I came here looking for some opinions on the bike I've been looking at.
A few background notes: I'm fairly big, 6'2", 210 pounds, 21 years old.

Should I paint my new (used) Tri Bike?

I just purchased a new to me Tri bike from a pro/sponsored TT'er, sponsored by Health.Net. The bike is great, and I love it, but I feel a little self conscious sporting the health.net logo on the bike (along with the logos from the other sponsors). I am thinking about getting the bike disassembled and painted, but I am wondering if it would be harmful to the alum/carbon frame (base frame is a Cannondale slice 2007, which was alu/carbon mix), and if it would cost an exorbitant amount.

I'm looking to possibly pick up this bike, but am not really familure with it. Id like to get into a freeride bike and this just happened to pop up. The guy is really knowledgable and let me take this for the weekend.
After riding it, im ok with it. It definitly pedaled good, little bob.. im up in the air about it. What do you guys think?
i'd probably pay 600 for it.

I have someone interested in doing a trade with me. He wants to trade me this.
For my T-Bucket.
So heres the deal, its a 99 so its an Evo, and its got 4800 miles on it. I no squat about Evo's or softails, I've had FL's in Pans and Shovels but never an Evo. Is there any "problems" with the late model Evo's? Is there anything I really need to know about them? Is the 99 Evo balanced, or is it rubber mounted? See I told ya I know nothin about them. Need honest opinion on this bike

Was first registered in 2007 Jan so has been on the road for about 2 years. It is about to run out of rego in late jan.
Now, having a look at it, what do you think? I spoke to him and he is willing to put 12 months rego on it for that price. Which he would have to do anyway pretty much if he does not sell it in a month.
Opinions? Should I be expecting it cheaper or is that a...

Honda shadow - opinions?

So this is the scoop. My dad bought a 2007 Honda Shadow Sabre in May/June time frame of this year. He has since upgraded to a touring harley model so my mom can ride with him blah blah, so now he's selling the honda.
My question(s):

Saddle recommendations, opinions please...

Hey guys, I used to have problems with my old saddle, numbness, but after going to the Serfa Pro-flo saddle I have had no problems whatsoever. It is also a very comfortable saddle, however I recently purchased a Trek 5.2 (upgraded to Bontrager RaceXLite Rims for an extra $420!) and feel the Serfas will look rather cumbersome, perhaps even foolish on my new bike. Looking at grad school in Logan right now. I have read some of the logan threads already, but was wondering some things.
Anyone know anything about the USU landscape architecture program and or anything about river stream restoration or watershed management opportunities there? I was thinking of taking my GIS experience there and seeing if i can find work for a year to establish residency.
