1. What do you think about Luke drinking?/Noah's Behavior @ the Hospital (Merged...   (18 Nov 2008)
For me, Van stole the show. For storyline reasons, I love that Luke is drinking again, but what a mean, sarcastic, and funny drunk. I am mad at him and feel sorry for him at the same time. He better watch his kidneys though.

2. What do you think, ? about BAD behavior 5 year old   (06 Jan 2009)
UGH My 5 year old NEVER has listened, really her whole life, I admit it, I haven't alway's been consistent with time-out's , now we take thing's away like TV , her FAVORITE thing in the world, unfortunalely ! I am also starting time out's AGAIN BUT while she sit's or lay's on the floor DS goes near her & it seem's a game. I tell her if she talk's we start over again. At my parent's last week she was really misbehaving, my mother think's she is out of control & I need to talk to someone about her...

3. Rewarding good behavior.... thoughts and opinions   (01 Dec 2008)
I am working on some more ground training and basic handling with my 2 year old rescued TB. Given her behavior when I first got her, both my trainer and I assumed that she has had no prior training of any kind and so our approach was to start from the beginning. She was virtually untouchable when I first got her and it took three days worth of catch attempts and 3 people to get her back into the barn. Now after almost 9 months she is a completely different horse, but I want her to be a little bi...

4. Teaching children they're born bad, born into sin or born to sin causes bad...   (02 Jan 2009)
My kids are Atheists and the teachers at their schools say they're some of the sweetest, most well behaved kids in the school.

5. Your Opinion On This Principle - Bosses vs. Minions Behavior   (30 Oct 2008)
Me and my players have an understanding: I will never go out of my way to kill your characters, unless its a "boss", they will, thats why they are the boss and not the minion, they take any oppertunity they can get and know that you dead, now, for sure, no chances, is always better for them than hitting your buddy across the room to give the healer time to get to you, heal you back to half HP so you can keep fighting. You will (and have) gotten letters apperently from other people containing exp...

6. Behavior modification poll   (09 Dec 2008)
Last night, I saw a commercial for behavior modification for children who are "out of control." Obviously, it wasn't supposed to just be for autistic children. Some clips were shown of children/teenagers arguing with/yelling at either each other and their parents. The kids looked NT to me and that's probably how it looked to someone who had heard of autism or not: Kids displaying bad attitudes when there's no good reason to. There was a clip of a mother who used it on her kids who said that sinc...

7. Defiant/Oppositional Behavior Parenting Class   (15 Oct 2008)
Well we've been to 3 (out of 11) classes so far and it's been pretty interesting. There are a total of 10 parents in the class. It's funny because I can see a bit of me in all of them. Some are more frustrated than others. Some are more frantic. Some are more 'anal'...etc. But you can definately see that there is a pattern to the parental personality type. There is one guy though that is really bugging both me and DH. He has a really pi$$-poor attitude...just a real negative thinker...he is abso...

8. s/o of Being Polite - What a Shock! - is Bridezilla behavior expected?   (14 Dec 2008)
I was reading the thread about service personnel being astounded when their patrons actually didn't freak out about mishaps, even under normal circumstances, and it got me to thinking about when DH and I were planning our wedding and everyone involved started treating me with kid gloves, especially as the date neared.   I never took a tone with anyone, much less snapped, and this was not what you would call a "high-society pull-out-all-the-stops" kind of wedding by any means, but nevertheless, e...

9. Children With Disabilities Arrested For Behavior   (13 Dec 2008)
(WCCO) For parents of children with special needs, outbursts can be a problem, and they don't stop at home. More Minnesota kids with autism and developmental disabilities are actually getting arrested for having tantrums at school. That's landing students in treatment centers, where they live alongside the worst sex offenders. "I dropped him off for band, and when I came back to pick him up, his teacher motioned for me to come in," said mother Kathryn Jacobson. Kathryn Jacobson told the I-TEAM s...

10. Strip Club Behavior   (30 Nov 2008)
In your mind, what do you expect your SO is doing while there? Not anything you'd ever "VOICE".... just what do you imagine... (in this scenario, you're not there)... What is appropriate? Inappropriate? <<< thinking about the "Mary's Husband" thread...
